Small smidge of angst.

"Hey look at that!" You heard an ecstatic voice from the front of the manor and walked over. "Yes Emma?" Emily asked, also coming from another place. The young girl smiled and pointed out of the window. "A storm is coming!" Huh? Emily walked up to see for herself. "Ah, you're right Emma." However the longer she looked at the sky, her face seemed to contort into worry. "Hmm, actually it looks pretty bad." Her eyes skimmed over to you. "(Y/n)! Could you tell everyone we might be getting a bad storm tonight, and the power may go off?" She could tell all that from looking at the sky? No power? I- "(Y/n)?" You looked up to the Doctor, taking you from your paranoid thoughts. "O-oh! Yes! Right! Of course!"

You scampered off upstairs where everyone's rooms were. Not too many people left them today, since it was the weekend so no matches. Not to mention it was quite gloomy, so no one had the energy to do anything. You went up the stairs and knocked on each door to individually tell everyone. You were very kind, and sometimes a pushover, but everyone would appreciate your sweet gestures like this. It took more of your own time to tell each person, then have them gather in one place.

You were on your second to last person, Eli, and were about to leave til he caught your shoulder gently. "Hey, wouldn't it have been easier to call everyone in one room? It's kinda time consuming doing it the way you are." You giggled nervously before turning back to him. "Well it's kind of pointless to call everyone into a room for a three second memo. Plus, no one probably wants to come out of their rooms since it's so grey outdoors." He let go of your arm with a soft smile. "Yeah your right, you're very thoughtful, (Y/n). Thanks for the info."

With that the Seer closed his door. You never really thought of yourself as being nice or anything, just not being a pest or annoying. You were afraid of the others thinking you were useless, so you were kind, and did what you did from that.

You made your way to the last door in the hall. The Mercenary. He was always very cold and isolated, I mean he picked the room farthest from everyone in the manor. However he must make an exception for your little visit. As you neared his door... would it be better to leave him be? I mean would he really care? He'd probably be asleep, the dark circles under his eyes always growing more apparent by the day. Though Emily trusted you to do this, and you looked up to the Veteran Survivor, so you did not want to disappoint.

Knock knock

You waited in anticipation. The only time you've ever conversed with the Mercenary was in matches, when he would save you. You would say thank you, even for every little thing. Like when he would heal you, despite him not being too good in that field, and the bandages were always loose and ruggedly put on. Though to all your thank you's, he never responded.

...
No answer. You knocked again. "N-Naib-?" We're you aloud to even call him by his name? Were you even on a friend basis? Was there a contract to be this guys friend? You weren't sure. It made you nervous as you would always make sure of everything. Now would be a better time than any. "N-Naib, can I call you that? O-or would you like me to call you something else?" You leaned your ear against the door, trying hard to listen for anything. You didn't know how you missed the noise of him walking to the door but you leaned more onto the wooden structure. "H-hel-?!" He opened the door quite quickly and all you could catch before you started falling forward as he had so rudely taken away your support. "Ah-!" Though you never hit the cold floor, instead he caught you. You heard his heartbeat meaning you had fallen into his chest so you jumped back in embarrassment.

"Ah- I- s-sorry! Emily just wanted me to come tell everyone that we might loose power today- so be prepared for that and she'll be downstairs if anyone needs her-!" Your eyes traced the floor pattern, never making, and never wanting to make eye contact with him. Even just standing next to him gave you a great deal of stress. All you knew is he must have been sleeping as you internally hit yourself for waking him up. He walked forward and looked down the hallway. "You went to everyone's door, too tell them such stupid information? Annoying brat." What. Was what I did not the right option? I though they would like it if I went individually to every door. I- but Eli didn't seem to mind. In fact he called me thoughtful for the action.
