You had a match in the Lakeside Village today. It consisted of you, Martha, Emma, and Aesop. You all chatted up at the table besides Aesop who, as always, kept to himself silently. You offered him a little small talk which he took, but still, it wasn't much. When you were all talking, unexpectedly, the Ripper came up to your table, so you all looked up confused.

"Today, the weather is a little tuff, so I thought by letting you know I'm your hunter, you wouldn't have to worry about much. It's a little stormy but if it gets bad, then we'll end the game."
You couldn't see, but you felt he gave a smile, which you returned. "Okay, Thanks." You said. He gave you a nod and went back to where he came from.

"Let's be careful guys, we can try to stay together if it gets too bad." Martha said. Everyone nodded, though Emma seemed a bit scared but you gave her small pets on the head. Everyone was ready, so was the Hunter, and you were all transferred to the village.

When you opened your eyes, you were actually not far from Emma. She jogged over to you. "I'll go up to the cipher near the exit gate if it's there. You can work back here. The chairs up there will all be dismantled by the time your ciphers done!" She said confidently. "Alright, be safe now!" She was getting better at being on her own lately, but you felt strange watching someone else's child grow up before your eyes. She smiled and went on her way.

You went to a Cipher next to a fence but still near the back of the map, and you seen a faint silhouette of the Ripper walking towards the opposite exit gate of where Emma was. Martha shouted the Hunter was near her, and since it was pretty far from you, you just kept decoding.

Though the longer you went, you did notice the weather getting a little rough, however it was still early in the game so no one could surrender just yet. You knew the more chairs Emma dismantled the harder it would get to do such so you hoped she was doing well.

You were almost done with your cipher when you felt your heartbeat slowly rise. You looked behind you to see Jack, Martha, and Aesop. They walked up to you and guessed they gave up because of the weather. "We were gonna wait til Jack's surrender came up so we could leave." You nodded. "Do you know where Emma is, (Y/n)?" Martha asked, twirling her gun on her finger. "Oh, she said she went up there to dismantle chairs..." you pointed up to the shore where the boat was. But then you got a beep on something you held.

You looked down and picked up your handheld transceiver (a walkie talkie lol). Everyone had one but they were only for emergencies. As you picked it up the storm worsened as the trees bustled around you. "Hello? Emma?" You asked. Maybe she hurt herself? You started to slowly walk that way, telling the others you'd be back as they can also hear her from their own transceivers. "(Y/n)." She replied. You kinda sped up and seen her figure on the shore looking over the water. You put your transceiver back on your belt. "Emma! What's wrong?" You started jogging up to her when you seen the shore was much larger for some reason, until she turned to you and pointed to the water. You stopped in surprise from the look on her face that held fear. "Are the waves supposed to be that big?"

You shifted your eyes to the waves, except there was only one. A really big one. Your eyes widened and you quickly grabbed her hand. That's why the shore looked so much bigger than before. The water was receding back into the ocean to make one giant wave. In a panic, your transceiver dropped so you grabbed Emma's to warn everyone else about the wave. "Hey!" You shouted quite frantically into the little box. "(Y/n)? What's wrong, did you find Emma?" Martha was the one who replied, and she sounded worried. "Not to alarm you or anything, but there's kind of a giant wave coming- the storm must've done something weird-! It's not ginormous or anything, but it'll definitely cover this entire place with a flood of water." You waited for her reply, but she must've been taking it all in. "We're gonna go as far back as we can okay? You just get back here safe with Emma okay?" You didn't know if you could do that, she was dragging her feet already being so nervous and scared, and the wave was a lot faster than it looked. "I'll try!" You said. You dropped the device to focus on running both your own and Emma's weight.
