Your face had a giddy smile on it as your feet patted through the halls. You used your socks to slide and turn a corner before sliding a door open and hiding. The room was dark, and you placed a hand over your mouth to contain your giggles.

Hearing sudden and quick steps run nearby you forced yourself to shut it. There were heavy pants, obviously this person was pretty panicked. The door to the room you were in slid open revealing light from the outside. The person walked in and for whatever reason you could no longer hold your laughter, so you decided to surprise them. "You found me!" You chimed, jumping onto the persons back.

"Ah-! Princess!" You slid down from them and stood before a tall male, his hair white and his eyes hiding a hint of pink. His face held worry, yet relief at the sight of you. "Please stay with us Princess, if we loose you again, the whole kingdom will be out looking for you!" You only giggled to his breathless pleas.

"Fine fine Xie-... I'll come out when I'm called from now on, but only do it when your desperate to find me." You crossed your arms and puffed out your cheeks with a smile. However your childish gesture faltered at his actions. He sighed with a small smile and his hand caressed your cheek.

"Princess I am always desperate to find you."

Your cheeks lit up with a soft pink as your eyes widened with embarrassment. "D-don't say that." You pouted with an annoyed look to which he retracted his hand and laughed lightly.

Xie was a couple years older than you, so he knew how to fluster you, or maybe you were just sensitive to those kinds of words.

"I only speak what I mean Princess, I wouldn't dare lie to you." His soft words stabbed your heart as your blush worsened. "But- I-!"

"Damn there you are!" A figure came rushing into the door frame. Ah his brother, you almost forgot about him. His state was horrible, sweating and panting, he was most likely running around to find you. You gave a weary smile to the other tall male with black hair and sharp yellow eyes. Fan was always so mean to you, flicking your forehead and pulling your hair, not before your father of course. If the Emperor seen what he did to his daughter he would've been killed by now. But you couldn't sell him out, he could be such a softie sometimes. However this was not one of those times.

He pinched your cheek and pulled you out of the room. "Ow!" You whined. "If you run out of our sight again Princess I'll tell your father about you sneaking out." An empty threat, but it was still frightening. You knew Xie and Fan liked sneaking out with you as well, but if he was annoyed enough he wouldn't mind snitching on himself to get at you. "N-no! I'll be good this time- promise!" You clapped your hands together desperate. To your annoyance though, he smirked for a moment. "The Princess begging for mercy- not a bad sight." You almost sent him to a death sentence but you couldn't do that to Xie.

He let go and you rubbed your cheek. "Don't be so rude brother, she's a lady." Xie elbowed his sibling softly yet sternly which you silently rejoiced at. "Lady? More like a ruffian." He crossed his arms and huffed. Xie ignored him and walked up to you.
