Because I had a Luchino stand over me for a match and he would not leave me úwù

A match at Sacred Heart Hospital... but it was snowing instead. It was actually very pretty with the soft music box melody playing in the back. How nice... if you weren't freezing to death. You rubbed your arms and made you way to the closest Cipher, decoding instantly.

You hoped the Hunter didn't come across you first, I mean, you weren't really quick on your feet. You were more of support than containment or decoding. Speaking of decoding, while you were doing so Helena got terror shocked and it looked like that Lizard guy. Poor girl, couldn't see or quick at vaulting.

"Don't move I'm coming!" Norton went to assist her, but she was chaired in the basement so you could only hope it went well. You sneezed and rubbed your nose. You wish the host would give you all some winter wear sometimes but you couldn't do anything about it.

Naib came around to find you. "Focus on decoding okay?" He said deeply, passing by you. Norton must've got jumped on and then hit as he was now knocked down. When he was put on the chair, Helena's time ran out and she was pulled into the ground, being in the basement and all.

Usually you would see Luchino's red outline by the rocket chair but he wasn't there anymore. All the sudden Naib was hit, and your heart started to quicken its pace. You looked up and Naib was running towards you, and before you could protest to him running your way he grabbed you, pulling you along. "Get out of here!" He said as a red light shown behind you both. He pushed you, but it didn't matter as you happened to be in the radius of the reptile man's jump. You were knocked to the ground and Naib was hit once more, finishing his health.

He looked upset, but you still tried to stand up. "Hey! Chair me slugger!" Naib shouted, trying to grab the Hunters ankle but he was too quick to be grazed by the Mercenary's scarred hand. The lizard made his way up to you to Naib's dismay, and you cowered with looking up at him.

But before any fearful whine came from your mouth, you sneezed. To be honest, it kind've killed the intensity of the moment as Naib gave an 'are you kidding?' look. Luchino stopped his very intimidating behavior and crouched down on his back legs to lower himself to you.

"Are you cold?" He asked, his eyes shifting to your cold red nose and obnoxiously red cheeks. You nodded softly, noticing Naib had healed himself up. "So-." The mercenary started. "Go on get." Luchino said waving him of, assuring he'd take care of you.

He shoved his knife onto his belt and scooped you up. You wouldn't say it out loud but he was freezing, being cold blooded n' all, it makes sense he wasn't affected by the snowy breeze. "U-uhm why are you-?"

"You're tiny, like a puppy, so I have an urge to keep you warm."

He was walking the direction Naib went, but stopped at the exit gate. Helena had done a few ciphers before being caught actually and you finished yours so just one was left. "Sorry, I'm probably making you colder." He placed you on your feet on the snowy ground but hovered behind you to stop the breeze from getting you. "Th-thank you." You mumbled.

His tail swayed to your confusion, he behaved like a dog? You giggled to yourself and he seemed to freeze, embarrassment covering his movements. "Ah sorry- I just thought it was cute!" You reassured him. His tail swayed once more before wrapping around you gently.

The siren went off and his eyes glowed a crimson red, yet you didn't flinch, only smiled softly to him and he smiled back, happy you trusted him. Naib came up, his boots crunching in the snow as you typed in the code to the gate. He kept his distance the entire time, but his eyes never left you, Incase Luchino decided to swing at you, yet he never did.

Naib went through and turned on his heels, walking backwards. You gave him a wave and smile telling him you'd be fine and he left. "Th-thanks again." You said looking up. He backed off to watch you leave but turned and faced him. "C-can you come down here?" You asked nervously, looking to the side.

He hummed and bent down to your level, slight confusion on his scaly features. Your smooth hands traveled to his face and you gave him a quick peck on the cheek. His slitted eyes were surprised and his face was bashful before you took the chance to leave with a wave.

Hopefully you'd seen him again, maybe in the summer, so he could hold you without you getting cold.
