"(Y/n)...."

You turned over with half lidded eyes to see the keeper of the soft voice. "Emily go away." You rolled back over in your bed but heard no shuffling from her. "I want to help you." She said, holding onto the covers of your bed. Her eyes were sad for you, though she couldn't exactly stop your pain like magic.

What was wrong? You weren't sick, but you wished you were honestly. It was... that time of the month. So naturally, Emily came to visit. Actually, this was supposed to be your last day, but it seemed your cramps waited last minute to come and knock you down.

"Did you already take some medicine?" She asked gently. Everything was probably very obnoxious to you, so she kept a gentle approach. You grumbled a yes, before closing your eyes and trying to sleep. But you were so painfully uncomfortable.

You kicked off your sheets to Emily's surprise and screamed into your pillow. "I wanna die- ahhh!" Your friend jumped to her feet and looked around in a panic not knowing what to do. "I- ah-!" She climbed in the bed and laid down next to you, wrapping her arms around you carefully. The cotton of her sweater was so soft, and her embrace was warm.

Your eyes glistened with tears. "E-Emily~...." You called gratefully. You began to weep at her affection, as she pet your hair gently. "It's okay, I'm here to take care of you." Her voice was melodic as you wept into her clothes. And before you knew it, you were fast asleep.

Your eyes widened and you hopped up instantly. Maybe it was just a pinch of uncertainty but when your eyes drifted to a shocked Naib you did not doubt your instincts. "I don't have any money-."

"I'm not robbing you!" He yelled angrily, but mostly embarrassed that you even thought of him as a thief. You sighed and laid back down abruptly. "There's food in the fridge if that's why you're here." You mumbled out. Usually Naib came over and raided your hard earned food. You didn't really mind, but he was such a pig and you'd always clean up after him.

"Actually Emily and Aesop are making food in the kitchen right-."

"Aesop?" You asked sitting up with furrowed brows. All Naib did was nod. "Who else is here?" You asked with a husk in your words and he quickly gave away the names. "Me, Aesop, Emily, Eli, and Fiona." Your mean expression turned to one of pain as you groggily went back under the covers. Just the thought of so many people being in your home was incredibly discomforting.

"Don't be such a drag." The brunette said as he scrolled on his phone. You growled at his words. "You don't know how much this hurts..." You were not one to be sassy, but someone having the nerve to tell you to calm down when they never experienced your pain was annoying.

The boy knew your joking tone from your serious tone, and was quiet. He didn't mean to make you upset. True he didn't know what you felt, but he just wanted you to be happy again with the snap of a finger. Unfortunately, those things don't happen.

Naib stood up from the chair and walked over to your bed. He lingered there for a moment before you turned over just barely to see him. "Where does it hurt?" He asked with a tint to his cheeks. Your eyes widened and you quickly looked elsewhere other then him. "My stomach..." You said quietly, and he hummed.

"Emily told me this might help." You looked behind you to see Naib holding up a heating pad he just plugged in. "Oh, yeah... thank you." You took it and turned it onto a medium setting, placing it over your stomach before curling up into a ball again. The sight of you in so much pain was hard to watch for Naib.

"Does it hurt... that bad?" He asked softly. You hummed, barely audible. Once more he stood there in silence, before you felt a dip in the bed. Your eyes widened and for a moment you couldn't help but ignore the pain in your gut. "I-I'll try to help." He whispered, laying down next to you.
