Fateful | Park Jimin 🔞

~ 40 ~

 Hand in hand, fingers intertwined together you and Jimin walked towards his grandmother's grave. Jimin was feeling very sentimental right now. He squeezed your hand as you both stopped near it. He stood there for a moment in silence and then slowly let go of your hand when you gave a nod. 

"Hey Mrs. Park." he says in a heavy voice smiling sadly. Your heart twisted as he kneel down and gently run his hand over the marble stone after placing the flower bunch down. "How have you been?" he whispers tears stinging his eyes but he quickly wiped them away because he promised you and himself to show that he is happy and not make it sad. 

"I'm sorry for visiting you so late. To be honest I really didn't have the strength to come visit you earlier. It's because of the disappointing things I have done in the past. I was so ashamed of myself but now I have changed. I've become a better man Halme. And I'm here to tell you and promise you that I will never disappoint you again. I will always be a better man for you and for her." Jimin says turning his head towards you while offering his hand. 

You slowly take his hand smiling softly. You were feeling proud and happy of him as he brings you closer. "Mrs. Park, I want you to meet Y/n. The girl who changed me and pulled me into the light. The girl who gave me courage to come and face you putting my past aside." he says looking at you with a soft sweet smile. your heart skipped a beat when you looked at him. 

Smiling sweetly you touched the stone gently and bowed your head down to show respect. "Hello Mrs. Park. I have heard so much about you from your grandson." you say holding Jimin's hand tighter. "I must say that he loves you a lot and you are really lucky to have him. And I'm very thankful to you for raising such a wonderful person. Jimin never agrees but he is the best I have ever met and I'm proud of him. I'm sure you are too. I will do my best to keep your grandson happy and stick with him during his every ups and downs." You look at Jimin and he was looking at you with so much adoration in his eyes. You could tell that he was feeling warm and happy. 

"Since it's been so long,  I'll leave you two to talk for a while. I bet Jimin has a lot to say to you. I hope the place you are now at is filled with wonderful things and happiness. I'll come visit you sometime again. Good bye Mrs. Park." you bid farewell and leave Jimin alone with his grandma.

Jimin couldn't help but smile as he watched you walk further away to the bench that was placed under a tree. His heart felt warm and he admired you more. "She is amazing isn't she." he says turning back to touch his grandmas headstone. A smile tugged his lips as he spoke. 

"I hope you liked Y/n. She is just like you halme. She is so beautiful, so good and so kind. I no longer have to wear a mask of being happy because she makes me happy. She mend my every broken piece together. And I love her Halme. I'm so in love with her." Jimin finally confessed it out loud for the first time to his loving grandma while looking at you from afar. He felt his heart dancing and it was making him feel so good and euphoric.

"But keep it as a secret for now." he says playfully placing a finger to his lips. "I haven't told her yet. I'm not sure if she feels the same but I'm going to confess to her tomorrow. I'll have to take her to a nice place and do it like a man. Like how grandpa confessed to you." he smiles remembering his grandparents love story that his grandma would always tell him about in the past. 

Jimin never thought he will be able to love someone again because of the way he loved his ex. For him she was his only love until you came along. He was so scared to love again, but you broke him free from his chains and showed him that it's ok. You showed him not everyone is the same. You showed him that he was worth everything and being broken yourself, you trusted him and choose to be with him. He realized that he has been in love with you for a long time, but his stupid caged heart was too stubborn to accept it.
