"Wake up! Come on, you boulder. It's important!" I say, shaking Fred. He doesn't move; his snores fill the room entirely.

I walk to his bathroom, filling a glass with water. I take a deep breath and walk back out, extending my arm as far as I can. I lean and pour the contents of the cup all over Fred's face, jumping back and running to avoid his fit of anger that follows. He sits up, swinging his arms wildly and gasping.

He sees me and scowls, his jaw tightening. "What the bloody hell was that for?" He grumbles, peeling off his wet tshirt.

"I've got a surprise for you and George. Ron and Ginny as well. Wake George and get dressed, alright? Be in the common room in ten minutes." I say, turning to leave and wake Ron.

"Aguamenti!" Fred whispers, splashing me with cold water. I gasp and turn back to him. He smiles; there's a sarcastic and smug sneer painted on his lips.

I know how Fred is. This could easily escalate to a complete brawl, so I bite my tongue and walk out of the room, cursing him under my breath. I don't want to ruin a day with the Weasley's; they were the closest thing to family I had when my parents were away.

I enter Ron's room, shaking him awake. He pulls the covers to his neck as he sits up, gasping. I tell him what I told Fred, making sure to emphasize it's importance. Knowing him, he would most likely just go back to bed once I've left. He nods, his eyes wide. Finally, I make my way to Ginny's room.

She's already awake, reading in her bed. She smiles to me when I enter, and I sit with her. "What's going on?" She asks, setting her book down.

"Someone's here to see you. It's a surprise, but you're going to like it." I smile at her.

"Oh Godric, I already know who. I heard the dragon roar this morning." She says, laughing. "It should be an interesting day today, then. Will you be spending the day with us? I'm sure Fred will just die seeing you talk to our brother."

"Just get dressed." I laugh, bumping her with my shoulder.

I go back to my own room, and wash my face in my bathroom. I brush my hair, deciding on using a bit of magic on it. Why not, it had been such a long time since I had. I go to my room, looking through my desk.

I don't want to seem too made up, so I take off all my jewelry and place it all in my drawer, leaving only my promise ring on. Everyone should be ready by now, so I make my way downstairs. I see the Weasleys, already bickering on the couch.

"What's going on, Mason?" George asks, rubbing his eyes. The crowd looks at me expectantly.

I smile at the lot, fiddling with my fingers. "Come on, you guys. I have a surprise for you." I say, bouncing with excitement. They start to follow me, laughing and speaking with tired voices. They start to complain once we reach the ground floor, asking where we're going.

I ignore them and keep walking, leaving through the castle doors. "Wicked! What is that?" I hear Ron shout, running up to me.

"Where has this come from?" Fred asks. I keep walking, and finally a curly red-haired man notices us and runs towards us. The whole crowd perks up, noticing who it is.

"Charlie!" Ginny shouts, shooting past us and jumping in his arms.

"Brilliant! What are you doing here?" George asks, walking up to him.

Charlie smiles lightly. "I'm delivering a couple dragons today. I'm meant to leave by tomorrow, but I wanted to see you all before I left."

The group cheers, and we decide to eat in the Gryffindor common room. The twins decide to get the food for us, and we head back into the castle after a short while of speaking by the lake.

The twins head downstairs; the rest of us move upstairs. Just as we reach the landing to Gryffindor tower, I find Julia pacing in front of the portrait hole.

Her eyes are puffy and her nose runs, and I make my way to her quickly. "Julia, what's happened?" I ask worriedly, grasping her hands.

"It's Adrian. I don't want you to be upset, but you have to see this." She says quietly, wiping at her eyes.

"What's happened?" I echo, my heart racing.

"Come." Julia says, grasping my hand and pulling me down the steps.

I turn to the Weasleys and excuse myself, telling them I would meet them all before lunch.

Julia and I go downstairs together, my heart pounding in my ears and my feet carrying me without thought. I ask Julia what's wrong, but she refuses to answer. My mind races with a million thoughts, every worst possible fear fills my mind.

I slip down the steps, landing on my bum and wrist. My wrist begins to burn, and Julia stops in the middle of the staircase. I stand and shake my head, urging her to keep going. My wrist hurts, but my fear pushes me forward.

We reach the Slytherin common room, and Julia pushes the door open. She then grabs my shoulder and stops me. "Something's not right. I know what it looks like, but it can't be truly what he wants."

"Julia, you're scaring me." I tell her, my eyes beginning to water. Julia blinks back tears.

She sniffles lightly. "You're going to be so upset. But please, know I'm only doing this because you're one of my best friends."

She turns and begins to walk down the boy's hallway. With my heartbeat in my ears, we reach Adrian's room. I bring my hand up, knocking on the door.

"I'm busy." I hear, but something sounds wrong. I grab the door handle, but it is locked. I knock again, harder. "I said I'm busy."

I hear giggling coming from the other side of the door. "Adrian. It's me. Open the door." I say, my voice thick.

"What? Mira, is that you?" He calls.

"Open the door." I repeat, tears streaming down my face. Julia covers her face, turning away from the door completely. I try the door one more time, but it doesn't budge.

I take my wand out and blast the doorknob; the door flies open. Adrian stands in a pair of jeans and no shirt, only inches from Victoria. She lays on his bed, half dressed and red-faced. My hand flies to my mouth, and I immediately shut my eyes.

"Mira, I'm sorry." I hear, but I turn away. My heart shatters into a million pieces, and pain racks through my entire body.

I feel nauseous. I feel a hand touch my shoulder, but I roughly pull away from whoever it is. My body racks with sobs, but I run away without a word.

"Mira, I don't know what's going on. I swear I didn't mean to-" A deep voice reverberates through my ears. I feel a soft hand reach for my wrist and pull me, and I find myself pulled down into a hall.

I look up and through blurry eyes see Julia pulls me down the girl's hall. I turn and see Adrian stuck behind the barrier that keeps men out of the hallway, pounding against the invisible wall. "I know, Mira, I know. But it was so strange. I saw them in the common room and it didn't even look like him. There were no lights behind his eyes." She tells me as we enter her room.

I fall onto her bed in a mess of tears, shaking my head. "Does it matter? They were half naked." I whimper, wiping at my eyes.

"Victoria is manipulative, Mira. I know something is wrong here." She whispers to me. I cry into her pillow, and she gently rubs my hair.

"He's a cheater," I sob, pain wracking my entire body, "I never want to see him again."
