"Right, thanks Cormac." I tell him, urging him to hand me the bright orange device he had hidden in his pocket.

"Leaving so soon?" He complains, taking a step closer to me. "Got a date with Pucey, then?"

I shake my head. "Weasley, actually." I immediately kick myself and try to back track before he gets any ideas. If he were to go out and speak to everyone about them, my reputation surely would explode again.

"Back with Weasley?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, no, not exactly. I meant both of them, and Lee. We're meant to eat together." I explain, lifting my hand a bit higher.

"What a shame. We could have had a good time." He mutters, reaching into his pocket to grab the small device. He hands it to me and I smile, turning quickly and stepping out of his room.

I practically run down the steps to the twin's room, throwing the door open when I reach it. The twins are already inside, laying out the plates on Lee's bed.

"Merlin's beard, you don't have to break the damn door down!" Fred laughs.

"Where have you been? I expected you to be waiting for us here." George asks, his tone full of genuine curiosity.

I smile and show them my hand, and they both jump up. Fred grabs the device and inspects it thoroughly before bringing it to his mouth. He inhales deeply and blows out a ring of smoke.

He takes another hit before handing it back to me, chuckling. "Mango; I haven't had that yet. Where did you manage to get one of these? I've been searching for ages but everyone is sold out."

I laugh and take a deep pull, letting the sweet favor hit my lungs. I blow it out quickly to answer Fred. "You won't believe who gave it to me. Cormac! He's a character that's for sure." I say, handing it to George.

"Cormac? As in Cormac McLaggen?" George asks, taking it from me but not bringing it to his lips.

"Yeah." Is all I offer, trying to gauge his response.

His cheeks go slightly pink but he doesn't answer, opting to take a deep drag of smoke instead. He blows a small cloud and then sucks it back in again.

I shake my head and move to look at the food, grabbing a sandwich and taking a large bite. George doesn't speak a word; he only grabs a sandwich and begins eating.

Was he really not going to say anything? I smile as I take another bite. "Oh, I've forgotten. I brought you these." George says, reaching to a plate to the side of him and lifting it.

He spills the contents into my hand; three chocolate frogs land in my palm, neatly wrapped. I blush lightly and thank him, placing them on the bed in front of me.

"You love those, don't you? Always have, I remember. Godric, do you remember when we were thirteen? On the train to Hogwarts, Mira bought every chocolate frog on the trolley..." He goes into the story, but my mind is distracted.

I think of George, think of how kind he was. He moves to sit on his bed, taking a bite of his food calmly. He nods and smiles with Fred's story, his face pure and full of joy.

Fred finishes his story and I force myself to laugh, moving to sit next to George. I sit close enough that our knees touch; my heart begins to beat faster in my chest. Slowly, as if he can't decide if he should, or if he wants to, he brings his hand to my thigh, almost on my knee.

I don't shy away from his touch; I place my hand on top of his. Fred doesn't pay any mind as he sits on Lee's bed, eating.

George turns to me, his cheeks a bright pink. "Can I take you out on a date? Please?" He whispers to me.
