I press my hand to the glass of the train window as I look onto the platform and say goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. The twins and I had found our usual compartment with our close friend Lee Jordan already sitting inside.

I quickly sat across from Lee, asking him about his summer. To my relief, Fred plopped himself next to me and joined the conversation. George still hadn't said a word to me, neither had I attempted to speak to him. Lee notices the tension and laughs a small and uncomfortable laugh.

I clear my throat, then begin speaking about my summer and my change of heart against quidditch. Lee groans but understands. The boys all start talking about something I don't have much interest in, so I sit with my face towards the window, my knees to my chest. I begin to drift off, comforted by the gentle lull of the train.

Next thing I know, I'm startled awake by a loud noise which forces my eyes to immediately open. My compartment is dark and empty. How strange. I look down and see that a robe was loosely tucked around me. Heart racing, I rush inspect the tag; my heart skips a beat when I see "Property of G. Weasley" embroidered on the neck. Had George tucked me in while I slept?

I glance down at my watch and see it's nearly time for me to change into my robes, so I stand up and fold George's robe neatly to set it down on his seat. After rummaging through my trunk, I find my robes and set down the hall to the bathroom where it would be much more secure to change. On my way, I trip over my own feet and am caught by a pair of strong, calloused hands.

"Woah, you alright?"

I look up and see none other than Adrian Pucey, a Slytherin quidditch player. Adrian is one of the fittest guys in my year, who constantly has a parade of girls swooning around him. I'd been saved that embarrassment due to the twins, who had told me if I ever was seen on the arm of a Slytherin, I'd be hexed by them.

"Erm, yeah I'm okay. Thank you for catching me" I say quietly. His hands are still on my shoulders, which I don't mind. I can't help but notice how tall he is as he stands next to me. As Adrian releases me, he smiles. "So, clumsy girl, how was your summer?"

Why was he talking to me this way? Adrian and I hadn't spoken more than five words to one another since we briefly met in first year.

Looking at him now, so closely, I can make out tiny little freckles that I hadn't seen before. They run just perfectly across his straight nose. I realize I haven't responded to him yet, and I let out a small laugh and say my summer was great. He smiles and continues to talk to me, but I am lost in his light green eyes and don't register a word that he's saying.

"Oi! What's all this?" I hear behind me. "Mira, is he bothering you?" I turn my head to see George walking up to me; Fred and Lee are nowhere to be seen.

"She's alright, Weasley. No need to assume the worst of me" Pucey mutters.

"I didn't ask you. I asked her" George replies pointedly.

"George, I'm fine. We're just talking. Not that it concerns you in any way," I glance back at Pucey and smile. "I should go change. We can talk later."

He smiles back and lifts his hand to my shoulder, giving it a small squeeze. He turns and walks to his compartment.

I turn towards the bathroom and walk past George without another word. I get changed and find my way back to our compartment, but before opening the door I can hear the voices of three worried boys.

"With Pucey! And he touched her shoulder like it was nothing." George says.

"You're surely joking," I hear Fred reply, "She's smarter than to let Pucey do anything to her"

"It seems like it was tame, mate. You're sure you're not just upset that she was talking to another man, instead of you?" Lee chimes in. Silence.

I take this as my cue to enter, and as I push open the door all three boys look at me guiltily. "What's going on?" I ask, feigning innocence.

"Nothing, silly girl" Lee laughs as he throws something at me. A chocolate frog; my favorite. I giggle and sit down in the same spot as earlier, next to Fred. I glance up at George, but he looks only to the window, avoiding my gaze.

The train finally comes to a slow stop. I tell the boys I'll meet them at the carriage, I just need a second longer. They exchange glances but leave me in our compartment, laughing and wreaking havoc on their way out of the train. I look out of the window to see all the students of Hogwarts crowded around the platform, laughing and smiling.

"Hey." I hear a soft voice behind me. "Yes, George?" I snap, without turning my attention from the window. I can hear him take a step closer to me. With a sigh, I turn to look at him.

"I'm sorry" he says, looking down. Now, without his brother at his side, he is able to speak to me freely. When he's with Fred, he never gets to speak his mind. He's always shut down, pushed away, ignored.

"It's fine Georgie, I was really just talking to him though. You didn't have to- "

"Not about that. Well, I suppose about that as well, but that's not what I meant," He takes another step closer, "I meant about that day at the Burrow; the day you got hit by that bludger"

He takes my hand in his, pulling a bit to get me to stand up. I shakily get up, but now it's me who can't look at him. His eyes drill holes in the top of my head as he looks down at me. My heart races. My hand is still in his.

"I don't know what you'd be sorry for" I say coolly. I can't look up at him. I can't look into his kind, hazel eyes. I can't look at the mop of hair he refused to cut this summer. I can't look at his chiseled jaw or plump lips- it would drive me insane.

"You do. But that's alright if you want to forget. I just wanted to say I'm sorry. When you touched me I just-" He stops abruptly, not finishing his sentence.

"We should probably go catch up with Lee and Fred" I say under my breath. I don't want to let go of him. I don't want him to step away from me. But he does, and we exit the train together silently.
