You hated the people of your kingdom and your parents to say the least. Why? Because they offered you as a sacrifice for the God of Heat and Coal, Shoto Todoroki. You cried, you kicked, your screamed and pleaded saying that you didn't want to be a sacrifice for some snobby god but did they listen? Oh no

You wished that you were at least attacked by a monster like the Minotaur or something instead of being offered as a sacrifice

"Why are you doing this?" you cried. "Honey, don't take this the wrong way, you're actually doing something noble, people will prosper and live happily for hundreds of centuries yet to come'' said your mom and she pushed you in the dark dingy dimly lit temple of Shoto Todoroki and locked the door from the outside 

Now you were scared. You weren't that scared of anything before in your life but now, you were willing to make an exception since you were in a life-death situation. Grumbling and cursing to yourself and with angry tears streaming down your face, you started kicking at some rocks and sand close by 

"I hope this whole town gets destroyed by one of Poseidon's sea monsters'' you thought savagely and kicked a rock away 

You turned around and saw a statue of the god Shoto Todoroki, the god of the Heat and Coal, and you didn't want to admit that he looked.... good... and handsome. His body was that of Adonis. perfectly sculpted and the way his eyes were on the statue, they were so.... accurate. You hated the way how perfect he looked and you resented his good looks 

Then, you started wondering how long this god was going to come to see you and so, you decided to spend your last moments of your life making yourself comfortable. How? By crying about how miserable your life was and huddling up in a corner 

"A beautiful girl like you shouldn't be crying" said a soft voice and you looked up and saw the actual god standing in front of you. You quickly stood up and scrambled away from him while he raised his eyebrow and said, "I hope I am not THAT scary'' 

You took a deep breath and sighed, "If you're going to kill me now, just please do it. It's not like I have anything much to live for anyway'' and a single tear drop escaped from your eye 

Todoroki regarded you; How cute and adorable you looked when you were so determined yet so frightened for your life, of course he couldn't blame you. He stared into your eyes for a few seconds and saw how dazzling and beautiful they looked, like almond shaped doe eyes even when you were crying, and he took one good look at you and your gentle nature and decided that you'd be PERFECT for being his wife

He suddenly felt an unmistakable rage course through the veins of his body for the people of your kingdom. How DARE they offer someone so.... beautiful as you as a mere SACRIFICE? He wanted to burn their limbs to a puddle of goo and destroy the kingdom with his powers till the land literally became barren 

"I will not kill you'' he stated calmly and coolly as you looked up at him in confusion. "Huh, b-but, what are you going to do to me then" you asked nervously 

"I will make you my wife and take you to Olympus where you'll be my queen'' he said nonchalantly like it was the most ordinary thing in the world while you just stared at him in shock. The very same god, who you thought was going to kill you and make you human puree' was now proposing to you like he was telling you that you had something in your hair and you were, in fact, surprised by his bluntness

"Uhm... okay" you squeaked with steam billowing from your ears and face flushed while he smiled and said, "Wonderful. I would request you to take hold of my hand, m'lady'' he bowed and offered his hand to you and within seconds, you were teleported to Olympus 

Within a few weeks, you were married to him and he was a nice, kind and caring and not to mention INSANELY OVERPROTECTIVE husband. He was just concerned for your safety, of course after all, he does have your best interests at heart. Oh, and as for that kingdom that made you suffer so much? Yeah, well, it became a barren stretch of land and somehow, Todoroki got ALL the Olympians not to do anything for that kingdom any longer and soon, the people perished. He didn't want to tell you that since he didn't want you to see him as a monster, and besides, what you don't know won't hurt 

He's always scared of hurting you and insecure about his scar but when you kiss his hands and tell him how wonderful he is either way, he just melts in your arms. He doesn't want you near the places where he works since it has a lot of heat and he is concerned about you safety. One day, Denki, the lord of charm decided it would be fun to flirt with you and lets just say that he merely escaped with his life, not to mention some minor burns here and there. What? Your husband is VERY protective of you, you know?

You both have a daughter named Adara, who became the goddess of Lava and Magma and she was always protective of her mom after she learned that you were a mortal before. Todoroki made you immortal pretty soon, like after your marriage with him and he was always there for you and never left you 

 He stroked your hair while you were sleeping on his chest and he gazed at you with pure love and affection (OH MY ASAHI, MY HEART CAN'T TAKE THISSSS!!!! SKSKSKS ) and thought, "I will always protect you my sweet darling baby, and if anyone DARES to come between us, they'll be sorry with their lives~" and stroked you hair gently and kissed your forehead. You had NO idea about how 2 faced your husband was....
