"Petra, stay with her at the wagon and try to bring fever down" Levi landed on the ground, and slowly passed Vien's burning body to her

Petra frightfully stared at Vien's body, she replied "Yes Captain"

Erwin quickly rushed to the wagon and touched Vien's forehead. He jolted at her body temperature and gasped "What happened to her?"

"I'll explain later Erwin, how's the situation here?" Levi lowly spoke

He responded "We helped cadets evacuate people and made a big discovery, one of them turned out to be a titan. He can shift into one"

Levi turned to Erwin and raised a brow "Really? Where are they?"

"He passed out, and Hanji's squad is bringing him back to HQ by now. We should catch up, and ask permission from the Brigade to see him. We might learn something"

Levi glanced shortly at Vien's body, before going back to the front row. They all mounted their horses, and hurried out of the wrecked village

"Armin, what the hell's wrong with you?" Connie scoffed at him

They looked weirdly at Armin on their way back. Ever since he fell on the roof, he lost consciousness and woke up in the wagon. He then remembered everything he saw awhile ago and the horrors of it made him refuse to speak clearly

"Mikasa" Reiner called "Weren't you the one who found him there?"

The girl was also silent, she didn't want to talk too, but she blurted out quietly "Dr. Vien.... she died"

Everyone went speechless, but Sasha laughed "Come on Mikasa, didn't she got transferred safely to the weaponry, she was still alive-"

"Armin said she died trying to save him, but I couldn't find the titan when I came" Mikasa mumbled

They didn't want to believe it, but Mikasa didn't seem like she was joking so they looked at Armin. Hoping that he would tell them it was a joke and nothing serious

Armin finally spoke, "I-I'm sorry"

Vien was confined in the medical quarters since she arrived, and was watched over by Aaron. He managed to bring her fever down, and her pulse became more stable than before. While the scouts were busy dealing with three particular cadets, the rest were in their rooms

"It's been 3 days since she arrived like this, what happened" Francis sighed, as the medics watched her

Aaron frowned "Captain Levi must know, doesn't he visit her every 4 in the morning? Squad Leader Hanji comes with him sometimes so she must know what happened"

"She likely fell from a high place, that's why her shoulder almost dislocated" Eric spoke "But her fever was too high for the norm"

Their quarters ceased to silence, that the two went back to doing paperwork. But it was so quiet that Aaron heard the crumple of bed sheets. He shot his head up, and saw Vien weakly grasping the sheets whilst furrowing her brows
