"Yo, looking for this young lady?"

It was recognizable enough for a middle aged man. He was shaking the case, since the sound of chattering bullets were audible

No, there were two of them. Vien sensed someone picking up the sniper right behind her back. Who were they and how do they know about this place? It was all that ran through her head, but she knew that she had to act fast to escape

Without turning her head, she swiftly moved her feet in a 180° angle, which knocked the girl off her feet. Vien took the chance to stand up, and after pulling out a pistol from her jackets, she pointed it right at his chest. Although the fedora hat covered his face, she could see his unreadable smirk

Before she could even react, she was knocked onto the floor by someone else behind her. They took the pistol out of her hands, and harshly pushed it at her nape

Vien rolled her eyes. As much as getting cornered was a bad situation, the fact that her uniform was pressing the bare ground bothered her more than anything

Her eyes flick up, and four people caught her eye. They all looked the same but the man with a hat stood out from the rest. Judging from the way the others addressed him, she figured out he was their Captain

"She's a scout, should we get rid of her right here?" Said the man who was pinning her on the ground

He walked closer, and all Vien saw was his pair of shoes that stopped a few inches away from her face

"Don't. Bring her up and let's see if she'll be a good girl who'd give us useful information" He smirked

One of them tied up her wrists from behind, and the other one kept pushing her to follow their path. She realized that they had already knew about the cottage

But when they stopped from a hill not far from it, her eyes widen when the Military Brigade invaded the structure. It made her wonder if they were caught by the police

"They're rather quick on the move" Their Captain scoffed "It's because that damn little runt is disciplined"

The doctor showed no signs of caring, but she listened to every single word they were saying

Little? He couldn't be referring to Captain Levi, right? But at least I'm able to confirm that none of them were captured Vien sighed in relief

As the Captain approached Vien, he lifted her chin with his finger and chuckled at the hard gaze she gave

"She's Commander Erwin's sister, as well as that runt's girlfriend. I say that brat has taste in women"

Vien looked away in annoyance

"Mm?" He removed his finger from her chin "Don't you have a mouth?"

She mumbled "I'll be wasting my breath talking to someone like you"

His soldiers seemed to take offense instead of the Captain himself. They avert their eyes to him in shock, but the Captain only laughed. Though it stopped when he pulled out a gun in front of her

"Scouts are like rats, they're always on the move and difficult to catch. Now that we found one of them, what do you expect will happen?"

Her dead eyes avert to their Captain, as she spat "You tell me"

"Being in constant contact with the Commander and the Captain, I'm sure there's a lot you have in that teensy brain of yours. Mind sharing some of that info to us?"

Vien was given a few threats for the next 10 minutes she refused to speak. It didn't resort to anything physical, but when one of them had their blood boiled by her, he was about to take a blow. But the Captain stopped him from doing it

He calmed him down "Never mind, we already know that they're headed for Trost District anyways"

Trost Vien repeated it in her mind

Their weapons were peculiar and it looked awfully heavy when he reloaded it. A single bullet from it could blow a whole human face to bits. It was already clear to her that they fought more with their own kind than they did with the titans

"Carven and I will meet with the rest of our men in Trost District. Meanwhile both of you watch over this brat. We'll be back in a few hours so make sure she doesn't escape until then" Said the man

"Roger sir!" Stated the two men in unison, as they watched the two soldiers take off for Trost District

The remaining soldiers pushed her down to her knees, and made sure her back pressed against the tree trunk. It almost seemed impossible to escape in this state, but she couldn't get her mind off Levi and the rest. Obviously none of them were expecting a group of armed men to be right behind their backs

"Are we moving to Trost District?"

When Hanji left with her assistant, the cadets averted their attention to Levi for his orders. But he kept his eyes on the cottage. It's like he was worried over something, but that matter was no secret to them

Sasha handed something to him, mumbling "Uh Captain, I brought Dr. Vien's bag like you told me to"

Levi had his attention fixed on the structure, before he eventually snatched the bag from her. He swung it over his shoulder after dusting it. And the cadets noticed that he'd still look around for Vien

"I told you we should've handled those bears by ourselves" Mikasa spoke lowly to the boy beside her

"I never expected this to happen either" Connie retorted "She was nowhere near the cottage. It's impossible that she was taken away when the military police are still here, searching so desperately"

It took five minutes until Levi spoke up "You're right, let us get going to Trost District right away"

Their Captain pulled his hood up, though he looked at the cadets in confusion when they didn't budge

"What?" Eren gasped loudly "Are we leaving now without Dr. Vien?"

The cadets stared at him, waiting for Levi's answer like they were also asking him the same question

"She knows that loitering around here is dangerous, so she's probably on the move right now"

Levi reassured them again "That brat could predict my decisions more than me, so I trust that now will be the same. Let's get moving"
