"Really? I never saw
it yet haha..."
---
The Survey Corps mounted their horses, and were already making their way back to Wall Rose. The Commander and the Squad Leaders rode in front, and Vien was just a few horses behind them
"Dr. Vien's quite the loud one isn't she?" Erwin spoke to Levi, but his focus was still darted on the road
They both heard Vien's laughter with cadets behind. Unlike Erwin, Levi was forcing himself to keep a straight face after hearing them
"I can see that" Levi lowly spoke
"Yesterday she openly told me she found this guy attractive. I think she doesn't want to tell me yet, but who it was doesn't really matter to me. Vien's been much more happy and open after telling me that, and that already described the kind of man she loved" His voice softened
Before he heard a reply, he turned to Levi and chuckled "I know it was really unnecessary to tell you that, but I was just too happy about it that I couldn't keep it to myself. You can forget about what I said"
"It's fine if you vent your feelings out like that, Erwin" Levi replied to him "With a hardworking and genuine girl like Vien, I'm sure her boyfriend would treat her well"
---
"Welcome back" Vien greeted herself, as soon as she stepped into her room at the Survey Corps base
The scent of the area, the spotless objects, and her bed, she missed it all. It had only been a month yet she was itching to return. It was for many reasons, and the meticulous way she cleaned it was one of them
Just like her everyday routine, she arranged all her belongings and dusted the shelf first. After being satisfied, she plopped onto her bed and stared blankly at the ceiling
Should I go to Levi? She thought
Vien shook her head, "He must be busy now. I shouldn't disturb him"
Everyone she knew were busy, and her medic friends were too tired to even get out of their rooms. After taking a shower to pass time, she spent an hour of reading in silence until her door was knocked upon
She stood from her chair, skipping towards the door and opening it. When her eyes lay on the person outside, a smile formed on her face
"Hi Hanji! Do you need anything?"
Stepping aside, Vien let her enter the room. Hanji plopped herself on the chair, and looked around in awe. Every corner was just as spotless as Levi's, and she thought only someone like him would clean their whole room to this extent
By the look on her face, Vien knew what she was thinking. She sat across Hanji and chuckled "I kept cleaning this room 5 times a day, which maybe explains the tidiness"
"Reminds me of Levi" Hanji replied
"Anyways about him, I was kind of wondering if anything happened to him? He's kinda suspicious today"
Vien raised a brow, and responded in a tone of unnoticeable concern
"Suspicious? What do you mean?"
Her dumbfounded reaction caused Hanji to laugh "Oh I didn't mean it in a bad way, hehehe don't worry"
She laughed awkwardly "Ohh, does it have anything to do with me?"
"Oh aha" Hanji scratched her nape
