It was as if time stopped when Levi pressed his lips onto hers, but the fluttering sensation she felt a few minutes ago only intensified. Her pulse gradually increased and it made her arms weak, as her hand fell to his chest. Vien could only focus on the synchronization their lips created under the dark horizon

Nature seemed to favor Levi that even though the smell of fresh rain took over the area, every breath he took smelled like strawberries. And his mind was infatuated by her lips, it was like candy that was so effortlessly sweet. Seconds later they pull away with destabilizing breath, and her eyes flicked up towards him. A weak look of shock spread across her facial expression

Levi held her cheek, and pressed their foreheads together, both of them closed their eyes. The hold he had on her cheek warmed her whole body, and she listened carefully to what he said after that

"I'm so fucking bad at this, but never in a million years I'd thought I'd feel this way towards someone. The way you smile always knocks me off my feet that it annoys me, your voice makes me flutter, and whenever you're by my side I just feel like this shitty life has worth"

Levi was already running out of breath, so he cupped her cheeks harder to catch it "So stop telling me to be happy, because when you're there, I won't even have to fucking try anymore. It'll just happen. My feelings anger me on how I let my guard down on you, but if that's what led us to this moment right now, I'll forgive it"

They pulled away, and Vien's eyes pierced his in a way where she was utterly speechless. It felt so unreal that she began thinking if it was all just a product of her imagination

"You're not, joking right?" She was stuttering in between her words, it was weak and barely even audible

Levi then replied in a sincere and a whole new manner "You came in the middle of my chaos and made everything better in so much ways I couldn't even notice at first glance. And everything I just said was an understatement. Now I can finally admit that I like you, brat"

Vien's heart decided to skip a beat, and his words were enough for her to bring back her senses. Using her arm on his chest for support, she leaned in forward and their lips met halfway again. Levi widen his eyes for a second, it silenced him but it urged him to kiss her again

Though they were outside, the rain made them hardly visible from the doors. None of them even realized that their clothes and hair were both soaked to its extent already

Vien pulled away, and a weak smile formed on her lips "I guess we both suffered with the same reason, hiding our feelings and trying to deny them. But it was something beyond our control"

Levi's eyes lit up, and a wide smile reappeared on his face. It had to be the most beautiful thing she laid her eyes on. He tucked a hair strand behind her ear and spoke

"Anything else you wish to say?"

She held his cheek gently with a smile, and they spent minutes of getting lost in each other's eyes before Vien spoke quietly to Levi

"I like you too"

The Next Morning

Thankfully, Vien didn't catch a cold after being under the rain for an hour. She woke up with a smile of relief after seeing her wet clothes on the corner. That means it wasn't a dream nor just her imagination

Levi woke up early, and the first thing he did when he sat up was smile. He couldn't help but recall the dream that grew into reality last night. The night sky, her beautiful smile, and their exchanging of i like you's was just too hard to stop thinking about
