"Erwin, this is just a lil speculation but if they were taken by cadets who could shift into titans, they'd all be exhausted after a fight like that, right?" Vien rode beside him

He replied, "Are you assuming they'd be out of energy right now?"

Throughout the first minutes of the ride, Vien already thought of many possibilities and theories that could help them in finding Eren. And she already made one in the first thirty minutes of their ride to Wall Maria

"Yes," She agreed "They won't be able to shift whilst drained out, which is why the titans outside the wall are a threat to them. I think that they're somewhere out of a titan's reach, like a tree perhaps"

Erwin was taking in everything she was saying, and he didn't reply so Vien continued on with her theory

"If they're recovering their stamina, then Eren would probably be out of Wall Maria by night fall"

They all averted their attention to Erwin when he spoke, after finally understanding what she meant

He mumbled "That means we only have till sunset to bring them back"

Vien frowned "We should hurry"

A soldier of the Commander's rode closer to him when he was called, and leaned closer to relay Erwin's orders. When he received the order, the soldier yelled to the back line troops to increase their speed

When Erwin's pace just fastened, Vien flicked the reins of her horse and easily caught up behind him. Everyone else quickly followed behind them, and all Vien did was pray for Eren and Ymir's safety

They arrived at the walls, and saw a group of unrecognizable faces above. When the troops began to move horses with the lifts, Vien used her 3DMG to climb the wall

Most of them went to the passed out soldiers, and Vien immediately knelt beside Hanji who's passed out. Her forehead was burning, so she took out a cold compress and carefully laid it on the forehead

"Dr. Vien!" Vien suddenly heard Connie call her name from afar

After tending to Hanji, she stood up and rushed to him with a hug. She looked around and Krista also lunged towards her. When she pulled away, the girl was crying

"D-dr. Vien, Ymir is still alive out there right?" Krista held both of Vien's wrists, like she was begging for some assurance at this point

Vien gently wiped a tear off Krista's cheeks and smiled genuinely at her

"Ymir knows that you're waiting for her Krista, and that alone will encourage her to make it back no matter what. So trust in her, okay?"

The girl quietly sobbed into Vien's shoulder for a while, and the doctor just waited for her to pull away after a minute. Her crying stopped, and her lips curved up

"Connie," Vien called "You'll find a pack of biscuits in my bag, so you go and share with Krista. I'll go to Armin and Mikasa for a moment"

The doctor smiled at them, before skipping to where the two of them were sitting quietly. Mikasa was curled up into a ball, and Armin was watching her face in concern

Vien knelt beside them, and Armin beamed to see her. She greeted them, but Mikasa was silent. The look on her face clearly showed how Mikasa felt about her valuable friend being taken away from sight

Sighing, Vien took out her medical kit, and tried to lessen the pain of Mikasa's mild concussion. Since the girl remained quiet, Vien kept her mouth shut instead like Armin did
