Chapter 33 - Trip to Town

"Are you lost?"

"But only if Levi will come along"

Vien briskly shifted from her laid back position and stared at Erwin in disbelief. She turned to Levi expected him to disagree with him

Levi simply shrugged his shoulders

"But, why?" Vien blurted at Erwin

Her brother sighed, and responded in his official voice "You're injured Vien, and you'll have a hard time keeping an eye on them like that"

"Are you busy Levi?" Erwin asked him, before Vien could even reply

Vien rolled her eyes as Levi replied

"Fine by me, we can head out at noon and come back by sunset"

Vien's POV

Me, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Connie, Jean, and Sasha were all seated together at the hall during lunch time hours. And in the middle of our conversation, I told them all about what happened this morning

"What?! Captain Levi coming along with us?" Connie exclaimed

Most of them gawked after I told them that the Captain would be accompanying us outside, per the Commander's orders awhile ago

Armin asked me unsurely, "It's because of your injury is it not?"

"Yeah, but it's okay. Don't let his bossiness stop you from enjoying the town. We only have until sunset" I calmly reassured them

Jean smirked mischievously at her

"Nah, she probably wanted to bring him along so they can date-"

I immediately stuffed a big loaf of bread inside Jean's mouth to stop him from talking any further. Jean glared at me so I returned the glare

"Quit it and start eating, idiot"

Jean took it out and blabbered at me, but Sasha clutched on my jacket. I realized the bread I took was what she was about to eat

Before she could cry anything out, I quickly gave my loaf to her and a huge smile shone on her face. She got it and rushed back to her seat

"So they can what?" Eren asked

Jean rolled his eyes "So they can both be obedient comrades who'd listen to the Commander's orders"

Mikasa lowly spoke "Jean said Dr. Vien brought Captain Levi along so they can have a date at the town"

I widened my eyes "Mikasa!"

Not even a second has passed, and our table erupted into loud chants and hums directed at my face

"No no, Jean was just joking about that we aren't dati- Uhm helloo?"

I tried explaining to them, but Connie and Sasha started dancing and chanting loudly that no one heard what I was saying. Jean started tapping the table for beats, Connie started chanting love poems, and Sasha started dancing

Their little dance floor went on for five minutes, before a soldier roaming the area told them off. The five laughed amongst themselves, but I kept a straight face and explained it when silence arrived
