"In this close place
where no one would see us?"

Vien's POV

Spending another silent hour with the pastor couldn't be more boring. Though surprisingly he didn't show signs of aggressiveness like before

When an hour had passed, he was already taken by the Brigade for questioning so I remained alone in the dim room. The lack of light didn't really bother me, but the dust and cobwebs on the corners did. So I took a few cleaning tools and began to clean the room alone

"What a mess" I scoffed quietly

Half an hour passed when I was cleaning the room peacefully, but it got interrupted out of nowhere

Someone spoke "Are you this building's maintenance woman?"

I dropped the brush in shock when I heard someone in the dark. When I turned my head, I couldn't see from the darkness but his way of leaning against the wall and his height easily gave out his identity

"Oh," I broke our stare and went back to cleaning "You really have to stop sneaking up on people like that Levi. It's scaring me to death"

Levi simply asked, "Should I announce my entrance then?"

"Not needed" I replied shortly

"Why are you cleaning the room? It isn't your job" He approached me

I darted the brush on the cobwebs just as he knelt down to my level. He stayed behind me, and looked to the corner where I was pointing

After glancing around the room with a straight face, he sighed

"You're right, this room looks filthy now that the power outage is gone"

Levi was surprisingly silent after that so I glanced at him confusedly, but he snatched the brush from me and walked away. It urged me to argue, but I ignored it and got a new one from the shelves instead

"You do that side" Levi rolled his sleeves up to his elbow as he spoke, and lazily pushed his hair back

The corners were dusty, so being the typical Levi he is, he started cleaning the area without a word

Flashback

"You seem calm, do you finally like my presence here?" I smirked

Nick rolled his eyes annoyingly "I was just threatened to stay away from you. Don't get too confident"

"By, who?" "One of the leaders"

End of Flashback

I asked "Levi, did you say anything to the pastor when you passed by?"

"No."

"Ohh" I chuckled quietly "I guess it was Hanji who threatened Nick. I guess I owe her for her concern"

He flicked his squinted eyes up to me, so I stared back in confusion

"What is it Captain?" I muttered

Levi rolled his eyes, and went back to doing his business. His actions made me stare in him in disbelief

What a joke. If he continues to do that I'd rather quit my job or die from being scared to death I rolled my eyes in a way he won't notice

He muttered "I saw that, doctor"

"And I can do it again, what are you going to do" I scowled at him
