Vien's POV

"I'm gonna go rest for a few hours, we still have two hours till 7 pm so I'll be back by then" I said to Hanji

I stood up and started arranging five hours worth of paperwork into a neat stack. Hanji, eyes not straying from her papers replied

"You could've just said you're going to Levi's office. Cya later" - we both chuckle at her remark before I left her office. It was five hours since I entered her room, so I wondered what Levi was doing in his office. Probably cleaning or doing papers

I finally arrive in front of his office, knocking the door before going inside. There he sat behind his desk, focused on his paperwork. I greeted him as I entered, but he didn't look up to me nor respond

Levi had piles of papers on his desk so I assumed he was just too indulged in his work. I sat on the neatly cleaned bed and placed the papers down beside me. All I did after that was stare at his busy figure, expecting him to talk after a few minutes - but he still didn't

"Do you need help with those? I can answer half of it" I spoke first

My eyebrows furrow as I received not a single reaction from him. His blunt expression was glued onto his papers, eyes squinted and his pen moving in a brisk manner. I rested my head in my arms, trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Wait, was he mad because of what happened this morning? He isn't the type to get angry at those though - but if he was, Levi should know that it was just a prank by me and Hanji My finger taps my face

"Are you okay?" - Still no response

Yup, he was definitely acting like I wasn't there. I feel like a ghost now

I stood up and began walking towards him. I stayed behind his chair and leaned on it, watching him from behind "What's wrong Levi? Tell me what bothers you"

Nothing came out from his mouth, so I held the backrest for support and leaned forward, tilting my head upside down to Levi's eye level "Come on say something~ what you're doing's scaring me"

Still keeping his mouth shut, Levi didn't make eye contact as he still wrote down words on his papers

"Is this about this morning? If it's not then whatever it is I'm really sorry for making you feel this way. You can put your anger out on me please just say something" I frown

He finally opened his mouth, but all he said was "Leave me alone"

I felt like my heart sunk when he spoke in a cold and blunt tone. There was something wrong with him, and the fact that he was pushing me away instead of venting out was somehow painful

"Are all these papers stressing you out? You can hand them over to me and lay down for a mom-" "Should I repeat it twice? I said you can go"

"I won't go away until you tell me what's wrong. I don't want to see you like this Levi" I tried again, but it didn't work - "I want to be alone"

"I'm a bit tired, of you.... so just leave" He annoyingly resumes
