5 months later

Summer arrived in the best way they could ever imagine - this had to be the best month of their lives. The wedding was set late in the afternoon, and the dazzling sunset faced the venue. On the sides of the petal covered aisle were their neatly dressed friends, all seated on the chairs arranged on the sand

"Gabi, are you sure I look okay right now?" Vien glances at her reflection, repeating the same question she asked seconds ago

Her hands were clenching the sides of her gown. It was the day she's looked forward to for years, yet she still felt nervous. Only 5 minutes left until she'd walk down the aisle

"Dr. Vien, I know that he's nervous just like you are. But he's all alone waiting out there while being stared at, do you want to leave him hanging?" Seriously chastised Gabi

Her lips shut as she shook her head

She assures her "You went through all sorts of stuff together, so there's nothing to be afraid of. Now go out there and tell Levi the same thing"

Vien grasps a bouquet of flowers before they went out. As soon as her eyes lay on Aaron who was waiting to walk her down, a smile of nervousness yet joy appeared on her face. When she wrapped her arm around his, he sensed shaking, so he sent her a reassuring smile

Even if an abrupt silence came, she didn't notice that everyone's eyes were solely on her. Just up ahead was Levi, the love of her life. He was seated in a wheelchair, but still as handsome as ever. The formal suit and his fixed hairstyle only highlighted his best features

Levi silently watches, as down the aisle his future wife came. She shows a radiant smile to the guests as she began taking steps with her best friend. Even so, Vien was the only thing he was seeing. The scene of her in that dress, of her slowly walking towards him, and her eyes that filled with adoration once it focused on him - she was breathtaking, and even more once she reached the end of the carpet

Aaron showed her a small nod. She wraps her arms around his neck, and pulls him into a tight embrace

"Thank you so much" She mutters

They pull away, and he answered with the same smile "I'm so proud of you, Vieny" - he let her go, now her arms were linking with Levi's

Then, Aaron places a hand over Levi's shoulder, giving him a fainter smile before walking away

"You look absolutely beautiful, like always" Levi whispers, she blushed then she compliments him likewise

As the ceremony began, Vien could feel his hand quivering a bit. She tightens the grip on him, and they exchanged identical smiles of reassurance in between the prayer

Once the prayer was over, the two were led through the vows. If he wasn't mistaken, Vien was about to burst into tears. Considering she had to cover her mouth several times before finishing her words

As Levi slips the ring to her finger, he didn't hold in his chuckles when he saw her struggling to keep the tears in. And before the priest could even finish his long speech, she loudly blurts out "Y-yes, I do"

The same question was asked of Levi, then he intertwines their fingers together with a calm smile

He says, "I do"

It felt magical, like a set of words that needed to be announced before the real thing comes true. A simple two worded sentence, but it marks the beginning of a new journey. The journey he had looked forward to ever since he fell in love

"So, with the power invested in me by the Gods, I now pronounce you husband and wife" Solemnly states the priest "You may kiss the bride"

Eyes not leaving his, Vien goes down on both of her knees. With her body leaning towards him, she wraps her arms around his neck to pull his face closer. Both closed their eyes, waiting for their lips to meet. But a loud voice suddenly snaps them out. They stopped halfway. Everyone in the venue darts their head towards the guy

"Go Vien!" A teary eyed, sniffling Eric cheers in the crowd. He eventually realized that everyone was gawking at him, but he didn't stop crying "S-she grew up so fas-"

Slapping his palm over his friend's mouth, Aaron pulls him back to his seat and tried to muffle in Eric's loud sobs. He awkwardly apologizes to everyone beside him

"Well" The priest cleared his throat, stating once again "You may kiss-"

The sentence was barely even done yet, when Levi impatiently brings their lips together. His hands travelled to both of her cheeks, gently caressing them like he was telling her not to be afraid. Then she was - she cups his cheeks in the same manner, both melting into the heat of sunset, and their overwhelming emotions for one another. After a few seconds, they pull a few inches away. Everyone was cheering loudly, but they didn't bother to notice it. Their attention solely rests on each other

Levi soothingly rubs her left cheek with his finger, taking his time to be enthralled in her blue doe eyes

"Well, is this everything you dreamed for, angel?" He asks

"Ten thousand times better than I hoped for, Levi" A tear trickles down Vien's cheek "I guess we're really living the fantasy now, huh"

He smiles dearly.

"This is just the beginning"
