After imprisoning those Marleyan captives, Vien cleaned herself before returning to her room. Levi was with her because apparently he was 'bored', but she minded her own business because she was piled with work to submit. Writing & reading, it's all she did for hours

"It's been long since we've stayed in this room together" Levi spoke

"I know, I heard from Hanji that you cleaned it everyday for all these years" She smiled "Thanks"

"Tch, all the dirt just bothered me"

He waited for Vien's reply, but the only sound that responded to him was the flipping of a novel's pages

"Do you ever wonder how titans metabolize humans once they eat them?" Vien randomly asks him

Levi stared at her "No, I'm busy thinking about something else.."

"What?" "You"

"Okay, but I'm curious as to how eating humans benefit their body"

Levi sat up straight from her bed, clicking his tongue when she was still focused on her papers. Although Vien sat near his feet, it was like books were the only thing that existed "You're seriously thinking about studies right now?"

She nods "Mm, and don't complain about it. I'll let you leave if you do"

Levi shifts closer towards Vien, arms snaking around her waist as he laid his head on her right shoulder "I'm going to complain. But I'm not leaving for the night"

"You can have the bed then, I'm finishing the book tonight" Vien casually says, eyes not meeting his

His breath tingled her neck, - she could hear the smirk in his voice alone "Hm too bad, I won't let you"

Levi snatched the book from her hands, tossing it somewhere to the desk. Vien's eyes avert to his, eyebrows furrowed "Don't you have anything better to do Levi?"

He smirked "Since you're good at predicting my actions, do it now"

"Here" Vien pecked his lips shortly, saying "You were gonna do that??"

His hands parted the strands of her hair to the other shoulder, leaving the other one bare. Levi pecked her exposed neck, which sent electric sparks throughout her veins. It felt like it lit up something inside Vien

"Don't do that to me, I might blow"

"I couldn't resist you in that dress. You look so much beautiful in white, like an angel" He whispered

"Then should I wear this outside?"

"No" He turns her around, leaning against the wall with Vien's body pressed against his "Unless you'd allow me to plug the eyes out of people who look at you, then okay"

"You're so aggressive over things"

"With you I am" He holds her chin

Vien scoots closer, closing the gap between their chests "Glad to hear"

Briskly colliding their lips together, her sudden action caused Levi to widen his eyes in shock. But he immediately kissed her back like it was an instinct, and they synchronized in less than a second. Vien's hands tightly grasped his neck, whilst his arms travelled up her body to her cheeks. No one talked but they knew that things escalated from there. She was melting, and every square inch of her body dissolved into his. Her desire for him to go on was gradually going to ruin her ability to think straight - but fuck that

Levi's tongue slithers in her mouth, suddenly kissing her in a harder, and fervid manner. The feeling of her body weight against his was striking. The scent that he's missed and the lips he's been deprived of for years were back. All he wanted was to pull her body closer, closer

"Tell me if I need to stop-" The rest of his words got lost in her mouth once she kissed him again, making him groan halfway when her body pressed harder against Levi's waist

Levi gently pushed her down the bed as he went on all fours above her, eyes meeting hers. He looked at her like the girl was a diamond - something he wouldn't want to leave his sight, something he wanted to protect, and something that valued more than anything. She closed the gap between them - he pecked her cheeks and his lips began trailing down under her jaw. When she thought the nipping on her neck was depriving her of her ability to think clearly, it only intensified further when his lips left marks. Her hands roam freely on its own will, messing his undercut hair. Every breath she took was the smell of his shampoo, and it was like a drug that put her to sleep. Eventually, the extraordinary feeling began to exceed her body's capability, her arms fell from his head, legs unwrapped from his waist, and the volume of all her noises decreased

Levi speaks in between his groans

"I m-missed you... so damn much"

He now sensed Vien's destabilizing breath when she held him down to rest on her chest. He only realized his rapidly ricocheting heartbeat when it became silent. Only the discrete noises of their numbing breathing was brimming the room

He caught a brief glimpse of Vien's burned out figure - messy hair, head arched backwards, and her nightdress that was pulled down to her waist. Shit, when did I do that?

Levi closed his eyes and focused on catching his breath. He pulled the straps back to her shoulder before letting his exhaustion get the better of him. When her breath hitching finally stopped, he snug her closer to his chest while soothing her hair in a reassuring way "Night angel"

She didn't respond - he moved a strand of her hair away from her face, realizing she already fell asleep in his arms. It made him smile before the same feeling overwhelmed his senses, slowly luring the man into a deep sleep

Vien's POV

After changing into my Survey Corps uniform, I glance at Levi who was still asleep. So I fixed my hair and cleaned the room for a short while before waking him up

"Wake up now" I nudged his elbow. But he only groaned in response, turning away to face the other side

I continued "You still need to check up on the captives, and I need to continue my research with Hanji"

"It's five AM, are you kidding me?"

"No, it's 6 am" - He jolts straight up

When Levi came to his senses, his eyes widen when I corrected him. I tossed his uniform at his face, saying "Get changed and hurry up. No one wants to see a late Captain"

I prepared all the stacks of papers while he changed behind me, and when he was done, I fixed his hair before pecking his cheeks. Levi had a panicked look on his face "I didn't know I could oversleep, let's hurry"

We walked together going to the main hall, but I stopped him from entering "You can go boss your cadets by yourself, I'll be at Hanji's"

"Mm sure" He smiled before going inside the hall. I didn't leave my spot, just watched him approach the cadets with a playful grin on my face. Levi looked dumbfounded seeing the cadets not even in their uniforms, drowsy in behavior, and disheveled hair. He stood in front of them with a blunt, intimidating face "What are you brats doing??"

They seemed startled seeing the Captain, jolting up in their seats. All of them saluted, and one yawns before asking "What brings you to the hall this early Lance Corporal?"

"Early? It's 6 am you darn morons, why aren't you in the training grounds?" Levi squinted his eyes

The three cadets share confused gazes with each other - one holding their chuckles inside, one looking down, and one who musters up the courage to correct Levi's mistake

He raised a brow "It's 4 am, sir?"

A feeling of embarrassment hit Levi like a truck, briskly turning his head to me that I heard his neck snap. I shot a smirk, skipping away before he'd talk "The food's better when fresh. Eat well Levi!"
