"Come in" Levi answered after someone knocked on his door

Hanji came in, and saw the Captain drinking his black tea whilst doing paperwork on a table. She went to sit across him and spoke

"I see you're doing your paperwork too early than usual Mr. Shorty"

Levi replied with the usual tone, and didn't make any eye contact

"I'm busy working with this shit just to get my mind off something"

"What is it?" Hanji raised a brow

He placed his cup down the table, and let go of his pen. After letting out a huge sigh, he looked out the window and bluntly responded

"Erwin, I don't know what he was thinking when he let that little brat join the expedition" Levi scoffed

"Oh Dr. Vien" Hanji nodded "I did heard the same from Aaron now"

She looked at him for his response, but his eyes remained outside and he didn't choose to reply after that

"I also heard that she made the root for Erwin's plan. If they succeed then will you trust her?"

Levi averted his gaze to Hanji, with squinted eyes "I didn't say I don't trust the doctor, it's just that I'm-"

He got interrupted when Hanji briskly stood up with a gasp. It weirded him out, so he stared at her. She muffled her laughter before grinning widely at him

"You're worried about her then!"

His eyes dropped flat and Levi immediately retorted "The same goes for Erwin, and the rest of Survey Corps. Stop cornering me with those dumb speculations"

Before Hanji could reply, Levi brought up a new topic to stray her

"And you? Why are you and that medical brat of yours here so soon without Moblit and the others?"

She seemed to stray from the topic quickly, which made Levi sigh in relief when she casually replied

"Aaron insisted we head back with my condition, and Moblit agreed to investigate Ragako in my stead"

"Ragako? That village where the titan invasion started?" Levi asked

She crossed her arms, "Mm that's right Levi, I had a few suspicions"

He stopped doing his paperwork, and placed the remaining stacks on his table. Since there was still half unanswered work, Hanji looked at him curiously and questioned

"I've never seen you start your paperwork without finishing it immediately, do you finally take your rest time seriously now?"

Levi sighed at her annoyingly

"This is for the brat to do when she gets back, I'm used to doing half my work now" He simply replied

A small grin reappeared on Hanji's face, and Levi's face dropped when he realized he mentioned the doctor in front of Hanji again

He shut his eyes in frustration, and sighed "I swear if you mention-"

"Ooooooo" Hanji loudly sang

Annoyed by her little love chants, Levi pointed to the door and it took a few scolds before Hanji left the room. When her singing was still heard outside, he rolled his eyes

Vien fastened her pace to the forest exit, but she pulled the horse to a stop when a beam of light shone all of a sudden. The other cadets came from behind and stopped using their 3D gear in the tree branches
