"It's been a month since
she finally talked to us"

---

"This place is scaring me, I want to go back to Headquarters" Francis yawned in a complaining manner

Eric dumbfoundedly asked "What was the name of this place again?"

The two laugh at his question, Aaron spoke "We've been here at Stohess District for almost a month Eric. We're not around Wall Rose"

"Oh I remember" Eric nodded, but they knew he was going to forget the whole thing in a day or two

When the three medics began to eat dinner in silence, the sound of the door creaking made them glance shortly, and their eyes lit when their friend was finally seen out of her room. Eric nudged Francis to go get another food tray

"You're finally spending time outside your room" Aaron stared at the figure who just entered the hall

They scoot over and left a space for the lethargic lady to sit on, since they didn't want her to do much after isolating herself for too long

Eric laughed "Yeah, you've been rarely going out for the whole month that even the Commander knows you skip out on missions"

Vien sat down beside them and smiled weakly "Yeah, I've been helping Hanji with her research"

"Study?" Francis placed down a food tray for Vien as he sat across her "What's the study all about?"

"Remember the female titan they caught in here? Well its holder encased itself in a crystal, and I'm suspecting that its material is similar to what the walls use"

Francis was the most interested about titan research amongst the three of them, so he asked "So what are you planning? Did you leave your room to inspect the walls?"

"Nope," Vien brought a spoonful to her mouth, and swallowed it before talking "I'm giving the crystal back to Hanji, and try going on missions again. It's been awhile since I've worn my scout uniform"

"But don't you think your own brother would scold you for it?"

She spoke boringly, "There's almost no use to being a medic, after all-"

Vien stopped talking, and suddenly a frown appeared on her face. But Eric, being the air-headed boy he is, asked her to finish her sentence

"After all what?" He blurted

Aaron nudged his shoulder lightly, and Francis smacked the back of his head, muttering him to shut up

"Oh yeah," He mumbled "I forgot about what happened to the Levi squad, I apologize for asking Vien"

Vien chuckled him off to ease the tension in the air "I couldn't do anything about it, and I've been avoiding the Captain ever since I embarrassed myself in front of him. I couldn't even look at him"

"Are you sure that Levi was even mad at you for yelling? I'm sure he would understand that" Eric tried to reassure Vien, after blurting out what he shouldn't have said to her

"I don't know, after breaking down I couldn't help but run out of his office. I never faced him ever since that" She frustratingly groaned

The embarrassment was starting to fill her up again so she quickly changed the topic to another one

Vien asked, "Oh yeah, where are the other 104th cadets? I heard Eren's still upstairs recovering"

Aaron, knew that she was always curious about their whereabouts, so he also got constant information to help her. "Well the others are at the base near South of Wall Sina"
