"You've got to be fucking
kidding me, that's impossible"
---
The rest of the training session was cancelled when Levi was called by Erwin. So Vien took this as an opportunity to roam around the grounds. Unlike before, she read the map so she wouldn't be lost
Seconds later, she sensed someone behind her. By the sounds of it, it sounded like she was being sniffed at. She turned around briskly and saw a blonde man sniffing her hair
Vien smiled faintly, saying "Uhm hello? How can I be of help sir?"
The man moved away and smiled, Vien jolted when Hanji swung her arm around his shoulder. She just appeared out of nowhere "Hi Vien! This is Mike, he's a squad leader who likes to sniff the new recruits"
"Ah, hi Mike!" Vien happily greets
Mike asked "Does your family own a strawberry farm by any chance?"
She was confused by the sudden question, "Uh no we don't, why?"
"Your hair smells like a garden of strawberries, in a good way" Mike laughed, before glancing at Hanji
"What's your schedule Hanji?"
"My training session starts 3 in the noon so they're probably eating right now" She stretches her arms
"Well not for me" Mike stated, "I'll go ahead. My members must be slacking off in the yard right now"
Hanji and Vien laughed together, talking to each other for a while as they strolled the grounds. "Don't you have work to do?" Vien asked
"Well, no I do-" She stopped talking and suddenly gasped "My report!!!"
Vien giggled as she watched Hanji's worked up figure run into the busy corridors. She reread her schedule and remembered the Captain's problem to take care of at 6pm
"Tsk, thought this morning was the last time I'd see him today, I forgot about later" Vien sighed to herself
On her way to the training site this morning, she overheard so many girl trainees praising the Captain. She then realized how popular Levi was. Not only in other girls' eyes, but also through the whole of mankind. Levi was named as "Humanity's Strongest" and how much titans he faced. Which only made Vien intimidated even more
I mean, having his dull eyes looking at you? That stare either makes me want to punch him, or cry on the spot. He scares and angers me at the same time. How could he call people 'scum' or 'brat' so easily?
Vien knew well she was the type of person who'd feel comfortable and jolly around everyone. But somehow the Captain was too serious to get along with, not like she wanted to. Every minute with him felt like an hour dreading the possibility of being scolded or unecessarilly being called a brat
She took her lunch early and got approached by Petra in the hall. "Vien, I heard Captain didn't take his lunch so can you bring this to him? I have trainees to supervise"
"Of course Petra, take care" Vien waved her goodbye, picked up the meal tray and carried it carefully to the Captain's office on the west
She knocks on his door a few times
Vien heard him question "Name?"
"It's Dr. Vien" "You can come in"
Vien opened the door and stepped into Levi's office. She continued to admire the cleanliness of the place. The shelves and window rails were spotless, this was probably the cleanest place inside the building
