"Unlike someone's naughty
mouth, I didn't mean to
insult anyone in this room"

---

The bustling and chaotic crowd made it hard for Vien to catch up on the two. She was trailing behind Levi's figure that was nowhere to be seen with the surprising heights of the villagers. So it took a while before she arrived in the building

Vien was about to greet them in a happy tone, but she saw Hanji yelling angrily at the priest. Which wasn't an everyday sight, so she kept her mouth shut and quietly moved to the Captain's side instead

Thankfully she arrived when Hanji stopped screaming at Nick, because she thought that being angry didn't suit her personality at all. Or most likely she wasn't used to seeing that side of her. But what made Vien think hardly was the priest's hesitation to speak, Nick clearly knew that his knowledge would be a huge contribution to humanity but he still refused to say anything

All that made her angry, but she wondered if there was something more important than their fate that Vien herself wouldn't see at first

They all followed the leaders into one room, and found places to lean their back on. Whilst Hanji read the paper Sasha just handed her

But Vien stayed back on the room where the priest was sitting down quietly. Nick's head was still facing his feet and he had an unreadable expression on his visage. It seemed like concern, but the fact that Nick still refused to speak didn't make Vien pity his state at the very least

"If you're that nervous, why won't you just say it?" She spoke bluntly

Nick didn't look up, but she could sense the annoyance in his tone

"Shut your trap doctor. If only the Lance Corporal wasn't worked up on me then I could've taught you a neat lesson back at the wagon"

He's so stubborn Vien thought

She retorted "It's actually the other way around you idiot. If I was able to, then I could've dissected you to your body muscles by now. Why else would I bring an aiding kit?"

"What a boastful kid" He mumbled

The way he addressed her made Vien glance away, exhaling deeply in annoyance. She took a sharp inhale before enunciating loudly

"Can, you, stop, calling me a kid I'm fucking 29 years old you old hag"

Seconds later Vien covered her mouth after addressing him, then she cleared her throat "Uhm I didn't mean to call you that, but the offense still remains, Pastor Nick"

Nick eyed her weirdly, and spoke bluntly "You're 29? You look nothing more than 18 years old"

"All you could do is aid people. That's all the reason why they brought you anyways. Why else would they bring someone as young as you?" Nick provoked

Vien briskly stood up and made unexplainable hand gestures which she meant to offend him

She yelled frustratingly "Urgh if you assume my age again then I'm dismembering you right here myself you vile little cockroach!"

The priest jolted a little after she screamed at him. Her unreadable hand gestures also weirded him out, but her anger scared him there

"You didn't expect that didn't you?" Vien continued to yell "I can do this shit all night if that means I get to shut your reeking trap you oldie!"

After insulting him again, she was about to land a punch on him but someone grabbed her from behind

He spoke, "This is why leaving him with you was a bad idea. You couldn't even get your ass still within the first twenty minutes"

His voice was already recognizable but her raging eyes didn't leave the pastor. Vien struggled to get out of his grasp so she could hit him, but she ended up trying the impossible

"Let me go!!" Vien yelled "I'm showing him the difference of an 18 yr old girl and his murderer!!"

Nick muttered "W-why does she get so worked up about assuming her age? She's gone insane"

"If you think aiding people is all I can do then allow me to gouge the lights out of you! Maybe then you'll change your mind" She exclaimed

Vien went on for another minute, but she eventually got tired that she stopped trying to escape. Vien glanced at him angrily and yelled

"Okay okay I'll stop! Let me go!"

He let her go, and raised one of his eyebrows "You gave up too early? You could've continued to struggle"

She scoffed, "Do I seem like a dog?"

Levi grabbed her collar down to his eye level, and stared "Of course not, dogs are much more obedient"

"Was that mean to insult me?"

"Unlike someone's naughty mouth, I didn't mean to insult anyone in this room" Levi smirked, then pushed her away lightly before making his way towards the pastor

Vien glared behind Levi's back in annoyance, and briskly dragged her feet back to where she sat awhile ago. As she watched Levi walk towards Nick, her unfriendly eyes pierced the pastor's very soul

"I'm sorry," Vien muttered "It's just that I can't stand being underestimated. Especially by him"

Levi leaned on the wall beside him with a thud, which made the pastor shiver in fear. His eyes trailed to his toes again as he didn't want to make eye contact with the Captain

He spoke, "You heard that pastor? The lady doesn't like you calling her a kid, so listen to her unless you want her to tear you apart. Although this time I won't stop her"

Then he averted his eyes to Vien

"Vien, I'll be on the West Corridor taking care of something. If Nick makes any rash actions, you can punch him I guess. Just make sure he's still alive when I come back"

"Understood" She bluntly stated, as her eyes were still glued onto Nick

When the Captain was about to leave, Nick helplessly stared at the Captain like he was begging Levi to stay. But when the door closed, his spine shivers when his eyes slowly avert to the doctor's frigid glare

Vien crossed her arms, as she spat loudly "What are you looking at?"

"Nothing" The priest looked away

"I'm told to watch you till Hanji's squad comes back, until then I'll fight the urge to hit you. Don't make the hesitation any harder"

Nick scoffed, "I'm doing this since your Captain allowed you to hit me. I can't believe he entrusted you on watching over someone while having unexplainable anger issues"

Vien rolled her eyes annoyingly

"Well the Captain already did so I won't take advantage of it, which is why I ought not to kill you right now. Secondly, only you could make my blood boil this way. Since you'd hate a beating, would you like an honorary medal instead?"

"I'd rather run into a wall and die"

She smiled faintly, "Well that's a pity because you won't be able to"
