"I'm asking you for the hundredth time, where are they?" Vien crossed her arms, shooting a glare

She stood in between Aaron's and Eric's desk, asking them the same question over and over again. The two medics acted oblivious to it, but she suspected that they knew it. These two are hiding something

Eric forced himself to yawn, asking with his eyes on the book "What was your question again? I forgot"

Vien slid her palms into her blazer pockets, fighting the urge to throw something at him. Forcing herself to calm, she lets it out by exhaling

"Where are Gabi, Falco, and Levi? It's roughly been a month since the war so he shouldn't be roaming around. I also couldn't find those 104th cadets anywhere. Literally none of them are in this building!"

Vien enunciates loudly for them to hear, so that she'd have a reason to smack Eric once he tells her to repeat it "Do you know anything?"

"Do we know anything?" Aaron looks at Eric, and they burst into laughter. She gawks at them weirdly - it was obviously forced

Vien crumples two pieces of paper into balls, and hurls it towards them with an unfriendly intention

"Do you think I'm an idiot? Don't think I didn't notice that you two were trying to kick me out of the building earlier" She angrily says

"Now that I came back with these dairies you wanted, they all disappeared out of thin air. Is this some sort of prank that Levi did?"

Eric slowly averts his uneasy gaze towards Aaron who was holding his nape. When Aaron forced out an awkward chuckle, so did Eric

"Come on, why would he do that?"

"That's the question! Why the hell would Levi be going outside the building in a wheelchair? How do you people even have the energy to joke around when most of you haven't recovered?" Retorted Vien

The woman stared back and forth at them, waiting for a response. She swore that everyone was still here the moment she left for the marketplace, now where the hell did they go? Only the medics were left in the building. Vien was worried for Levi, yet sure that she'd get mad at him for pranking around when he was in a bad state

"Darn, I've told those two midgets not to tolerate Levi's reckless plans" She clenches her fist angrily

Vien questioned the two medics again, but Eric acted like Aaron was the only person in the room

"Ron didn't you mention something about that certif-" Eric gets cut off when she pulls him up by the ear

Aaron stands up, and attempts to calm her down, but he stopped talking once she glared at him. She averted her attention back to Eric

"The only thing he will mention is your memorial certificate if you don't tell me where Levi is" Vien tightens the grip "Is he out there wasting his money on tea again?"

A specific sound that was heard from the outside caught Vien's attention. She immediately let him go, and rushed out of the room without looking at the window

"Oh, they must be here already. That was a close one" The two medics peek outside the window

---

The door opens, and in came Gabi and Falco who were pushing a wheelchair. They did it slowly to avoid making noise, but they stopped when they saw someone staring at them. Vien leaned on the pillar, giving them unfriendly looks

"You look like you had fun, where did you go?" She bluntly asks Levi

"Ahh," Falco chuckled to ease the tension "We just strolled around"

"Aren't the cadets with you three?"

"Cadets?" Levi looks away "They didn't go with us, maybe they're walking around town like usual"

Vien eyed them suspiciously when they refused to make eye contact with her. Something was definitely off, don't tell me Gabi humiliated herself in public again She thought

"If that's true, then I'm sure they're coming back in a few hours" She decided to dismiss it "You two can rest, I'll be at my office with Levi."

"Mhm! We'll see you later Dr. Vien!" Gabi giggles with Falco

Vien rolled her eyes "Tsk, don't talk like we're going out later. We aren't planning to go anywhere this time"

"Huh? But Mr. Levi said that we'l-"

Gabi slapped her hand over Falco's mouth to cut his sentence off. She chuckled it off, saying that he was just joking "T-that was... nothing!"

Vien raised a brow "Oh uhm, sure"

The two of them ran the opposite direction, so Vien held the handles and began to push his wheelchair slowly. Levi complained about it after a few seconds "Do I look like some grandpa to you? Push faster"

"What was that all about? What did you tell Falco?" Vien questions him

"Oh that..." Levi scratches the back of his ear, replying "It was nothing"

"Tsk, you're saying the same thing as Gabi. I guess you got used to those troublemakers that fast eh?"

"Well you said that they'll be staying with us from now on"

Vien brought him inside the office, and stopped in front of her bed. Since Levi didn't want to lay down, he stayed on his wheelchair while she sat in front of him. They spent minutes of staring at each other before they burst into low chuckles

"It feels quite nice right? We have nothing to worry about from now on" Levi intertwined their fingers

"That was one hell of a nightmare, I admit. I honestly thought I'd never get to experience this kind of life ever again. But even if I dragged myself into that hole, I still wouldn't regret joining the Survey Corps. I got to meet many people because of that, and they're all important to me" Vien's eyes water up, but she chuckled the tears all of her tears off "H-Hanji my girl, Mike, our first squad members, my medical team, especially you Levi"

"Tch" Levi clicks his tongue, and wiped the tears off with a tissue

"There you go, getting so emotional again. Stop crying and get some rest" Levi tosses the blanket over her head - she brought it down with a confused look "Why should I be getting rest? It's only noon time"

"If you want an answer then I will tell you later. I'll wake you up after two hours so just make sure you rest until then" A smirk appeared

"Tsk, I don't know what you're up to. But I guess I'll sleep for a while"

Vien hid under the blanket, facing the opposite side as she allowed herself to get engulfed in her sleep

In utter silence, Levi kept his eyes on her with a huge smile. This girl was everything he could've asked for. Now that they have a whole life ahead of them, he forgot all the horrors he's been through. Because the fact that Vien was, and will always be by his side, made him believe in the impossible - forever
