Chapter 3: Escaping the Mansion

The door explodes as a total of six hooded people come in with swords. Another three with guns. The blonde then somehow extends one of the chains coming from his ring finger. I'd assume it's his nen ability. The three with guns started shooting.

Me, the small woman and another man take cover behind a table while the woman with pink hair kissed the old bulter.. and he then became her sheild. Her ability scares the shit out of me. The blonde then proceeded to use the same chain to catch all of the bullets. It was insane. The hooded people with swords all went to attack the boy, but he managed to dodge their attacks and jump high onto the top of the staircase. There were more people at the staircase which he once again, dodged their attacks. He jumped onto the chandelier.

"Good job on concealing your presence guys, but unfortunately you're too weak. As a matter of fact, I don't even need to use my nen!", the man with the mustache exclaimed as he punches one of them.

All of us except for the blonde were attacking these hooded people. The blonde just stood on the chandelier and watched. He jumps off and land on the floor, then proceeded to pull out a knife to the ginger man's neck and says, "Call them off right now. I'll count to three. One. Two-".

"Ok ok, whatever you say", the ginger replies.

The hooded people then collapsed and then I realized that they were created with nen.

"Wait, what's going on?", asked the pink haired woman.

"They were made with nen. I knew the moment I punched one of them", said the man with the mustache. "They're just masses of aura shaped like men. They were weak but I didn't realize it was his nen", he said as he looked over to the ginger.

"How'd you know?", the ginger asked the blonde.

"You were careful to stay camouflage next to the others. But when I watched you from above, it was clear. Every one of us was under attack, except you. I realized something was wrong when two of them were hidden on the second floor. After I jumped onto the chandelier out of their reach, they just stood there and continued to swing their swords. I assumed they received the following order: Attack the nearest enemy. The assailants were given simple instructions, so their attacks were simple. However, it will take a skilled nen user to control eleven human sized auras simultaneously. A nen user who is most likely an emitter. Given the size of the aura involved, he would have to be a few meters within the assailant. Which meant that the nen user was someone inside this very room".

"Damn, you're good", I replied with my arms crossed.

The man with the mustache whistled.

"Well, yeah you nailed it. My name is Shachmono Tocino. As you might of guessed, I'm a hunter. Of course I'm also an employee here, which basically means I'm your senior. Now since everything's cleared up, can you please put away your knife?".

The blonde agreed.

"Based on the chains, its fairly safe to assume you're a manipulator, aren't you? Well, I sure hope you don't hold a grudge. I was only following the orders tha boss gave me: Test the applicants by attempting to kill them. But I honestly never expected to be exposed so quickly. Well, I'm betting that the five of you will be able to escape the mansion safely, so best of luck".

"Five of you?", the small woman replied.

"That makes it sound like there's another one of you in the room", answer the man with the mustache.

The blonde proceeds to walk up to Shachmono Tocino and responds, "I imagine that was meant to be some sort of diversion that was the wrong call. Before we all circum to paranoia, I shall determine if there are any other infiltrators among us".
