It's breakfast time at the Nostrade mansion, and the bodyguards were ordered to assemble in some type of conference room in the building. Kurapika didn't come to the dining hall this morning. I wonder what he was up too..

My mood wasn't the greatest either. I wanted to call my parents but there's no phone service inside the game. Overall, breakfast was pretty lonely. I could've talked to Melody, Basho, or even Linssen, but I just wasn't really in the mood to speak to other people. I left the dining hall early to get to the conference room. I didn't eat much.. or at all.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be eating breakfast?", Kurapika asked. He was sitting down at one of the chairs that were set for the meeting.
"I just came early, what are you doing here?", I asked him.
"I just caught a break right now. I'm free until the meeting starts", he answered. "How are you feeling?".
"I'm feeling fine. I'm just tired, that's all", I replied.
~ Kurapika's POV ~
I know she's lying, but I didn't want to bother her about it before the meeting. She just seems too quiet to be fine.
I noticed that she's been wearing her pendant often, just like me. However, mine is usually hidden under my tabard most of the time. Everytime I look at it, I can feel her warm presence radiate through it, and I love it dearly.
She informed me a little bit about her trip, and why it was so sudden. Her Ma had one neat nen ability, or two I should say.
She was only gone for two weeks, but I really did miss her..

The meeting finally begun inside the room. Kurapika, Melody, Basho, Linssen and I were the remaining bodyguards working for the Nostrades.
"I called you all here today to discuss how we're going to get our money back that was used up at the auction", Light announced.
"Neon's nen had suddenly stopped appearing and we have no clue why. So using her fortune-telling is out of the question. Because of this, we're slowly losing our rank in the Underworld at a constant pace. So, there's only one way to attempt to earn back our money quickly; by gambling".
We stood in shock, besides Kurapika. He probably was the one who helped Light figure out a plan. But was gambling really all we could do? It was probably the only legal thing we could do if they didn't want to resort to illegal methods.
"Kurapika and I will be the ones in charge of choosing the locations. Some locations can be local, while others can become business trips. I'll be the one in charge of all transportation to these trips", Light explained.
