Part 3

Wanda POV-
It had been an interesting couple of days, Nat had gone missing and come back without us even knowing. She had no idea how she got back but we figured it out. We tracked down the guy but realised he was in France at the time she was rescued so it couldn't have been him. I had my thoughts about it but I didn't want to say anything, it wasn't my place to raise questions.

We'd all been invited to a welcoming party for the new recruit. We didn't know much about them but that Fury trusted them.
We were all enjoying ourself when the new recruit walked through the door and I'll admit, she was hot. I smirked at Nat who had the same look on her face, we both introduced ourselves.
Wanda- welcome to the team Carol
Carol- thank you, it's good to be here
Nat- if you need anything then let us know
Carol- there's a friend here to see you as well

Nat looked at me in confusion, I had no idea who she was talking about. Then I saw her.
Y/N- well, it seems that I'm back
Peter ran over to Y/N and she pulled him into a hug, I had no idea they were still this close but it was good for her.
I didn't know how to feel and I could see Nat was in shock just as much as I was
Tony- it's good to see you again Sonny, come on in and there's plenty of things you can drink here
I didn't know what to do or think, my heart was pounding and then she saw me. She flashed that damn smile at me and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach all over again. I went straight to the bar and got a drink.

Wanda- Martini, please
Y/N- the last time we were together like this I bought you a drink, it's good to see you again
Wanda- you left and now expect me to act like nothing happened?
Y/N- I expect you to hate me, for you to feel like I abandoned you and maybe even that you wish I hadn't come back
I slam my hand down on the table and face her
Wanda- I have wanted you back everyday since you left and now you're here, I don't know how to feel
Y/N- that's perfectly normal Wanda, I'll leave you alone

I just stare as she wanders off. The years had certainly been kind to her, she was looking better than ever. Her features were more defined and she looked happier.

Y/N POV-
Seeing Wanda made me realise how much I messed up, taking the job was right for me but I shouldn't have left the way I did
I just wanted to enjoy the party now so I head over to the sofas and sit in the only space free, of course it's next to Natasha
Y/N- how's the face?
Nat- it's been better, can I ask you something?
Y/N- you just did but yeah, go ahead
Nat- why are you back?

That was a really good question and the problem was, I didn't really know the answer to it
Y/N- Fury wanted me back here, something about the team needing me
I smirked as I said it, I knew I was getting into her head again and she just laughed at me
Nat- we really needed a self absorbed prick here
Y/N- ouch Natasha, some might think you're trying to hurt me
Nat- if I wanted to hurt you then you wouldn't be sat here
Y/N- if someone didn't save you then you wouldn't be sat here either

I take a sip of my drink as realisation hits her but before she can say anymore, she is interrupted
Tony- to welcome our new recruit and welcome back an old friend, we shall play a game of truth or dare. Same rules as usual
Everyone heads over and I move so Wanda can sit on the sofa, I sit down in front of them both as their legs dangle either side of me
I can hear them whispering to each other behind me but I wasn't going to interrupt them, I don't know if something had continued between them but they looked happy so it wasn't my place to be.

A couple rounds pass and it's been like a 12 year olds slumber party, all the questions and dares have been lame so it needed stepping up a little.
Y/N- so Thor, Truth or Dare
Thor- Dare my lady
Y/N- kiss the hottest person in this room
He stands up and walks over looking at Nat and Wanda when he bends down in front of me. He pulls me close and kisses me hard, his lips at harsh but the kiss was incredible
Y/N- well, I feel honoured to have been kissed by a God
Wanda is trying to get into my head so I let her, I don't know what she wants
Wanda- you don't get to kiss other people in front of me
Y/N- someone seems a little jealous
Wanda- you are such an ass

I laugh to myself before blocking her out, she kicks my side and I look round at her, her eyes red and she's angry
Nat- Truth or Date Y/N?
Y/N- Truth
Nat- why did you really come back? I don't want to hear some bullshit excuse either
Y/N- I told you the truth but I'll say it again, Fury sent me here because you need me. He also wants me to train Danvers
Nat- did you save my life?
Y/N- you've already asked your question Natasha, it's someone else's turn
She stands up and pulls my shirt collar with her, I'm assuming she wants me to follow so I do.
We head into her room and sit on the bed.

Y/N- if you wanted me in your bed then there would have been easier ways
Nat- were you the one who saved me?
