Part 10

I wake up early and Steve is gone. He was always an early riser no matter what time we went to bed.
I rolled over and saw it was 5:26am, I decided to get up and head back to my room.
After the party last night, nobody would be up at this time and it would be easy for me to head back to my room.

I jump in the shower, my chest sticky from the Vodka. I dry my hair as best as possible before putting it in a side plait. I didn't usually do this but I was going to train today so it didn't matter if it dried like that.

I head downstairs and it's just after 6am, I grab a bowl of cereal and head to the training room where I knew Steve was.
Steve- good morning
Y/N- Steven.
Steve- it's been a long time since someone called me that
Y/N- I like using proper names, names are powerful things
Steve- about last night
Y/N- what about it?
Steve- I really appreciated the advice
Y/N- I get it so don't worry about it, the advice I gave you will have most girls on their knees for you
Steve- let's hope so
Y/N- oh you dirty boy

He keeps training and he's looking a little slow
Y/N- want some real opponents?
Steve- that would be great
Y/N- they fight like I do, I'll start with one and progressively make it harder.

He fights one then two and it's easy for him. I keep adding more and he's at 6 before he starts to struggle. I keep 6 there and grab some more cereal, I was hungry after last night.
I come back in and all 6 are on the floor
Y/N- wow, you did well there
Steve- keep going
I follow his instructions as I add more enemies in, I could control all of them and make things tough for him but he needed the winning mentality before I made it too hard.
It was now 8am and Natasha strolled into the training room

Nat- good morning Babe
Y/N- ah Natasha, looking beautiful as always
Nat- I came to find you last night but you weren't in your room
Y/N- oh yeah sorry, I was with Steve. He needed some advice so I helped him
Nat- is that right?
Steve- yeah I asked her some personal things and she helped me out
She takes the bowl of cereal from my hands and starts eating it
Y/N- Oi that's my food
Nat- your food always tastes better
Y/N- you seem to have a habit of eating my things
I smirk at her as she starts to blush

Jarvis- Miss Romanoff, Miss Stevenson and Mr Rogers, you are all required in the meeting room
I stand up and offer my arm to Nat
Y/N- shall we, my lady?
She gracefully accept and laughs as we head to the meeting room, I can hear Rogers behind us as he doesn't pick up his feet when he walks

Tony- you're finally here, lets get down to business. We scanned the thumb drive and found a lot of information about you Sonny
Y/N- ooo scary
Tony- this is serious, they have records in everyone you ever killed as well as every mission you completed
Y/N- oh shit
Tony- yeah oh Shit
Y/N- look I can explain
Tony- how many people have you killed? I know the answer already so you better be open about this
Y/N- it's over a thousand
Tony- 1256 to be exact
Nat- you killed all of those people?
Tony- so then what was the bounty for our heads?
Y/N- don't make me do this Tony

I didn't expect this to come out, I was hoping I could just walk away from this and I tried. I stood up heading out for the room but Wanda soon stopped me
Wanda- answer the question
Y/N- I don't want to talk about this
Tony- well you have to
Y/N- Natasha and Clint, £500,000. Tony, £1million. Thor and Wanda, £2million and then Steve, £5million
Tony- £11million is what all our lives are worth
Y/N- it would have been but when it came to that time I came to you, I had many chances to kill all of you but didn't

I move Wanda out of the way and leave the room
Tony- where do you think you are going?
Y/N- anywhere that isn't here
Tony- we are not done here
Y/N- I am so done here Tony, I never wanted to come back but I was forced to. I know I'm a horrible person and being a good guy means people only expect the good. My past is full of death and manipulation, I cannot change it and I have to live with it. I'm glad you don't.

Nat and Wanda follow me outside as I head towards my car
Nat- Y/N, please stay
Wanda- we can talk through this
Y/N- there's nothing to talk about, I'm not who you wanted me to be and now Tony has aired most of my dirty secrets
I get in the car and drive off before anyone can say anymore. I didn't know where I was going but I couldn't stay here.

Wanda POV-
Seeing Y/N leave made me realise how much her past hurt her, I had never seen her like that before.
Nat takes my hand and we both head back to the meeting room
There's a silence in the room as we enter

Wanda- you know they controlled her right? The same way they controlled Bucky
Tony- it doesn't excuse her from what she did
Wanda- she didn't know what she was doing
Tony- some part of her did. Where is she anyway?
Nat- she left
Tony- give her a couple days to cool down and then we can talk to her
Wanda- oh no you are not discussing this with her again
Tony- I can talk to her about anything I want and you will not stop me, do you not remember who controls this team?
Steve- calm down you two, get out of here and cool down

I leave the room and Nat runs after me.
Nat- he's such an ass
Wanda- I wanted to hurt him so badly for what he said, she didn't know and she couldn't stop herself. Why is he having a go at her but ignoring everything Bucky ever did? They are exactly the same but yet he forgives him.
Nat- I don't know, let's get you some food and relax
