Blood covered both of their suits, the one white fabric now stained a deep red.
Y/N- what happened?
I couldn't move, they both stood there looking at each other, none of us knew what to say or how to help them. They hadn't said a word since returning, I could feel her pain and it was worse than ever before.

I walked over to them, slowly approaching with my hands in the air showing them I wasn't going to hurt them, they weren't in danger anymore.
Natasha's eye meeting mine as I approach, she takes a step forward.

Y/N- you're safe now babe, no one is going to hurt you here
Her fist clenches by her side before meeting my jaw, my head jerking to the side as her fist connects.
Nat- that was a death mission, that's why you wouldn't go
Y/N- what?
Nat- it's a soul for a soul, one of us had to die but if it wasn't for those creatures that attacked us then I wouldn't be here
Y/N- I didn't know...
Nat- just take the god damn stone and by the hero you've wanted to be

I watched her storm away, all eyes had been on us and all the avengers had been watching
Tony- Yikes
Steve- that was something else
Clint- did you know?
Y/N- I had no idea
Clint- I'll talk to her
Y/N- No, it needs to be me.

I attached the last stone and the power was immense, the stones all feeding off the others power as the energy fractured.
Y/N- get yourselves cleaned up and then we can figure out who does this.

I walked out to the balcony, needing some time to myself. I hadn't been out there long when a pair of arms wrapped round my waist, a head laying on the back of my shoulder.
Y/N- I'm sorry
Nat- look me in the eye and tell me you didn't know.

I spun around and pulled her close, our eyes meeting
Y/N- Natasha Romanoff, I had no idea the extent you'd have to go to in getting the stone
Nat- why did I go then?
Y/N- cause everyone else said no? There's easier ways to get rid of you anyway
Nat- oh really, how?
Y/N- accident at home, I'll collect your payout from shield and move somewhere with Ben. When he's old enough, I'll teach him to flirt and bring home lots of hotties so I can get some then die old and lonely because you left me too early.
Nat- why does it sound like you've thought about this?
Y/N- no idea
Nat- I should keep an eye on you
Y/N- oh you better, once this is done Ben is staying with Pepper and you're all mine.
Nat- is that right?
Y/N- I promise you, it'll be worth it but your legs might reject the notion once I'm done with you

The fire in her eyes as mine turned dark, a sign of what I was really feeling.
Nat- it's what I've been waiting for.
Y/N- stop rubbing your thighs together, we've got work to do.

I gently squeeze her ass before walking off, a glance over my shoulder shows her infamous smirk.
Nat- I'm gonna get you back for that
Y/N- oh you better!

I headed to my room, changing out of my lab clothes and throwing on my suit. We were all gearing up for this to work, the world would need our support to regain control.
The men were of course arguing as I walked into the main room.
Thor- it shall be me
Bruce- you can't do it Thor

I stood in the corner watching as Natasha joined
Steve- are you going to offer Sonny?
Y/N- nope
Steve- why not?
Y/N- because it would kill me and then my wife would kill me
Nat- she's right
Y/N- there's only one person here who could cope with the immense power and that's BruceHulk.

He takes the gauntlet and slide it onto his hand, the stones immediately sending the power through his body as the pain shot up his arm.
Bruce- AHH
Y/N- you've got this buddy, come on.
He snaps his fingers, a wave of power flowing through the room as I rip the gauntlet off his hand.
The stones burning into my hand as I place it back onto the table
Y/N- are you okay?
Bruce- did it work?
Y/N- we will have to wait and see

A couple minutes pass when my phone starts to ring, it was Noah.
Y/N- everything okay?
Eli- hey sis
Y/N- Eli?
Eli- yeah, you did it!

I look around the room, the others waiting as Scott strolls over to the window
Scott- hey guys, I think it worked.

I run towards Natasha, pulling her towards me as the missiles hit the compound.

Nat POV-

I saw Y/N running towards me and grabbing me, we ended up somewhere different.
I looked around and saw the compound crumbling down, the Avengers still possibly inside as Y/N wasn't around me.

My comms crackling as I start to hear faint voices
Steve- any.... hear..... come...
Nat- I'm here
Steve- is Y/N with you?
Nat- no, she got me out of the building but disappeared
Clint- anyone hear me? I've got the gauntlet
Steve- keep it safe, I'm outside the main entrance
Nat- I'm on my way.

I run towards the entrance avoiding the oncoming gunfire from above.
It looked like the same ships Thanos had before but he was dead, Thor killed him, so how was he here now?

I meet the others, Tony, Scott and Thor having all joined the party.
Steve- we can't find her
Tony- she will be okay, she's strong
Nat- yeah I know, let's deal with bastard first.

Thanos walks through his portal, the anger spread across his face.
Tony- planet earth is closed today
Thanos- you have what I need, hand it over and maybe I'll spare your lives
Steve- We don't negotiate with you
Thanos- you undid all my work, this world was thriving until you stepped in making a mess. You all must be punished, I will wipe this whole world out of existence once I'm done.
Nat- you'll have to get through us first.
