Part 32

Narrator POV-

You were free falling, Natasha's limp body falling beneath you as you tried everything to speed up.
Taking a deep breath, the black smoke forms around your body pushing you down further and quicker.
Wrapping your arms around Nat, you teleport yourself back to the compound, falling on the medical room floor with Nat laying on top of you

Noah- Jesus, what the hell happened?
Y/N- the building collapsed and you know, might of jumped out of it after her
Noah- let go of her and get outside now
Your eyes were completely black as you could feel it taking over again. Not wanting to harm anyone, you legged it outside into the open space.

Y/N POV-

Why the hell was this happening? Why could I just be a normal person?
The power was overwhelming, this feeling of my insides boiling and the fear of hurting everyone I cared for

Wanda- Y/N? What's wrong?
Y/N- stay back, it's not safe
Wanda- I trust you
She walks closer and puts her hand on my cheek, I look down with my eyes closed
Wanda- look at me
I shake my head, she lifts my head up as I open my eyes
Wanda- I'm not scared of you, believe me when I say that no matter what you could do, I still love you and will always want you.
Y/N- I'm a monster
Wanda- you aren't even close to one
Y/N- the things I've done and now look at me, I hurt you the other day and it was all my fault
Wanda- it's okay
Y/N- NO! No it's not, how could it be?

I take her hand off my face and walk away, my hands resting on top of my head as I try to calm down
Wanda- what do you want me to say?
Y/N- anything! I don't care, I just need people to stop lying to me
Wanda- you really want that?
Y/N-YES!
Wanda- okay fine, you are such a mess. The whole leaving thing helped you but then you came back and you were ill. But hey, you left the job again and decided to go back to what you are good at, being a fucking criminal. You need to realise that you aren't on your own anymore, you have a family and people who love you!
Y/N- I've always been good on my own, never having to give a thought about anyone else. I was good at my job before I met you
Wanda- are you seriously blaming me right now?

I take a deep breath and turn around, I knew my eyes had changed back. I could feel that I was back to normal as I walked over to Wanda.
Y/N- how could I blame anything on you? You saved my life that night we met in the bar and I wouldn't change anything.
Wanda- you are such an ass
Y/N- I know but I'm your ass

She pulls me close and kisses me. This turns into a full make out sessions but I pull away
Y/N- I should really go make sure everyone is okay
Wanda- yeah you should.

I leave Wanda outside and return to the medical floor, supplies being thrown everywhere as people start to clean themselves up
Y/N- why is everything a mess?
Noah- because I couldn't find anything, now will you help?
I grab a pair of gloves and start to clean people up, Carol had the most serious injuries but she was okay. Her powers helped with the pain and I would monitor her closely to make sure she was okay.

Natasha had a concussion and hadn't woken up yet, I placed an IV and connected her up to the monitors. Fluids would help rehydrate her and a small dose of painkillers to remove any headache or to treat any other pains.

I walk out of her medical room and see everyone apart from Noah had left.
Noah- sit down, I need to stitch your wound up
There was no point arguing, it hurt like hell and needed cleaning up so he might as well do it instead of me
I take off my shirt and lay down on the bed, Noah starts stitching immediately
Noah- you used a lot of energy today, you should really get some rest
Y/N- I'm fine
Noah- no you aren't. Look, you need to start taking care of yourself better. We got shot at, you took down 10 guys with your mind. We then got blown up and you saved everyone, but who tried to save you?

I sit up and look at him, he had a serious look on his face and I had no idea where this was going
Noah- what happened?
Y/N- I jumped out a building to catch her using the smoke then teleported here
Noah- you're such a bastard, do you know what could happen to you?
Y/N- of course I fucking know but she is everything to me, I would risk my life every single day to make sure the women I love don't ever have to get hurt. I love them for fuck sake and you don't even realise what that means to me!
Noah- we all know what they mean to you and yet, you're self destructive. Sort yourself out first before trying to save everyone else.

He slams down the equipment and storms out of the room, thankfully he finished the stitches.
Pepper- hey, I'm sorry but I heard everything, are you doing okay?
Y/N- I don't even know anymore
Pepper- can I give you some advice?
Y/N- yeah of course
Pepper- you love them right?
Y/N- with everything I've got
Pepper- all your belongings and rooms are just items, those can be replaced but you Y/N, are a special person to them. The memories and feelings they have for you cannot be replaced or bought again, they are only what they can remember. You are not invincible Y/N, you cannot be replaced. Those girls love you and want the best for you but, you need to want the best for yourself. Don't let your past get in the way of your future.
