Part 25

Wanda POV-

Y/N had been doing okay for the past couple days after the whole sickness episode.
Nat and I decided we wanted to make as many memories as possible before something as happened so we had made a plan for the day.

Wanda- Y/N, Get Up!
She rolls over looking at me, I can sense she's not too happy with me but I didn't care.
Wanda- we've got plans today so hurry your cute little ass out of bed
Y/N- bite me
Wanda- oh don't worry, we can do that later
She laughs to herself before rolling out of bed, I grab some clothes for her and I watch her her dresses. Normally she would complain that it was creepy but she's been letting us get away with everything, if we wanted something from her then we'd have it.

Y/N- so where are we going?
Wanda- to the beach, spend the day with my beautiful girlfriends and enjoy ourselves
Y/N- now the swimsuit makes sense
Wanda- considering you are the smartest one here, you really are stupid
We both laugh it off and Nat wonders in to find us, she gives us both a quick kiss before grabbing our bag and taking us to the car
Nat- your carriage awaits ladies
Y/N- god I regret this already

The time at the beach was perfect, Y/N enjoyed messing around in the water and building sandcastles. She really was a child when she could be and she knew when to be sensible
Y/N- thank you for today, I really appreciate it
Nat- we wanted to make you happy, I know it's been tough on you
Wanda- even with the painkillers, does it still hurt?
She looks down at the ground, fiddling with her fingers. She didn't want to tell us and I couldn't understand why but I wanted to know, I could help with that part
Wanda- please?
Y/N- yes, it hurts but I don't want you to take the pain
Wanda- why not?
Y/N- because it gives me something to feel, I'm so stuck and caught up with emotions that I can feel myself shutting them down. The pain gives me a way to keep feeling

I didn't realise she was feeling that way, I knew things were getting bad and quickly. We'd been told yesterday that it wasn't a couple months, it was likely to be any day now and I cried my eyes out.
Nat was left in disbelief as Y/N cared for both of us, she's the one dying and still looking after us.
Her family never replied to her and it made her feel like they didn't care. I knew they weren't good for her because we are her family.

Nat- right let's get back shall we?
Y/N- let's go ladies
Wanda- after you
I help Y/N up and follow behind to the car, she often got dizzy so one of us walked next to her and the other walked behind in case something happened.

We made it back to the compound and Y/N went to her room for a shower.
I went into mine and Nat followed
Wanda- you okay?
Nat- did you notice how tired she looks?
Wanda- yeah I did but she seems to be doing okay, she's not herself but we can't expect her to be

We both get ourself changed and ready for dinner, Nat had offered to cook and that in itself was dangerous enough so I agreed to help.
Y/N took her time getting ready so I went to check on her
I knocked on her door and it was locked but that wasn't a problem for me. Using my magic, I opened the door and found Y/N laying on the floor
Wanda- Y/N!
I ran over and she was unconscious, her breathing was all over the place
Wanda- Jarvis, get Bruce and Tony in here now. Come on baby girl, it's not time yet. We've still got so many memories to make

Tony POV-

I was sat in the lab working on my suit when Jarvis piped up
Jarvis- Mr Stark, Wanda has requested your presence in Y/N's room
Tony- Why?
Jarvis- Y/N appears to be unconscious

Shit.
I grabbed the medical bag and legged it upstairs almost crashing into Bruce as he ran around the corner.
We both ran straight past Nat who knew what was happening, the tears filled her eyes and she was frozen in place
Tony- Jarvis, get Steve to see Natasha in the kitchen

Wanda didn't know what to do but sat by Y/N trying to get her to wake up.
Her body was defeated, her blood toxicity was at 87% and it was rising rapidly. She couldn't fight it any longer and her body had given in. Both Bruce and I knew it so the best we could do was keep her comfortable.

Bruce- she's not holding her airway, I need to intubate
He grabs the tub and places it correctly as I pump the oxygen into her lungs. Her vitals start to steady out as the monitors have been attached
Tony- we need to move her to the medical floor
Wanda- is this...
Tony- be prepared, this is going to be the end.

Peter brought in a stretcher so it was easier for us to carry her to the medical floor.
I hated this. The kid could get on my nerves but she had really developed into a good person and she was the best thing that has ever happened to Nat or Wanda.

I had tried everything I knew and even contacted others to see if they could help but we couldn't figure it out. We couldn't even work out what she was injected with.
Y/N is surrounded by some of the smartest people in the world and yet, we can't save her.
