Part 19

Nat POV-

I run back to my room without anyone hearing, Y/N was the Ghost and she had confirmed my suspicions but how I was going to deal with this? The team needed to know but Wanda had to be told first.
It's late so I decide to get some rest before making my plan

I get woken up by JARVIS telling me I've been called to the meeting room, what was that about?
There were no missions today and it was only me going so I was confused?
I head down and find Y/N sat at the table, she's wearing her favourite basketball jersey whilst her hand rests on her ribs

Y/N- morning
Nat- hi
I didn't want to talk to her because I knew I'd get angry and scream, she had been lying to us and I wanted to know the truth
Nat- are you going to tell me what's going on here?
Y/N- eventually but we are waiting on someone

We sat in silence for 10 minutes, I could see that Y/N was tense and nerves covered her face.
Nat- why are you so nervous?
Y/N- I've done some bad things and I don't want people to hate me
The door flies open and Fury walks in
Fury- Stop talking Sonny.
Y/N- yes sir

It's something I'd never seen before but Y/N was scared of Fury, she was the toughest person I knew and nothing scared her but this fear was above anything I'd ever seen.

Fury- Romanoff, tell me what you know about the Ghost
I look at Y/N and she avoids eye contact, dropping her head down to look at the floor
Nat- a very talented fighter
Fury- you know who it is, don't you?
Nat- if my suspicions are correct then yes
Fury- tell me
Nat- I believe it's Y/N

I look back over at her, her head in her hands. She lifts her face up and her eyes are puffy, tears rolling down her face
Fury- can you keep this quiet?
Nat- excuse me?
Fury- care to explain Y/N?
She stands up and takes the seat next to me, bring her tablet over with her.

Y/N- when I left the Avengers, I needed some time to figure myself out. The Ghost became who I am and I used it to be better
Nat- you stole private information and leaked it?
Y/N- i was helping people who needed it
I jump up and walk away
Nat- WE NEEDED YOU!
I slam my hand on the table making her jump

Y/N- you turned up and we hunting the Ghost so I informed Fury that it was me. He helped me with the plan to push suspicion away from me
Nat- you should've told me, I could've helped you
Y/N- I was in over my head, I didn't know who I could tell
Nat- So you told Fury rather than you GIRLFRIEND?
Y/N- I'm so sorry
Tears flowing down her face, I was so angry but I couldn't leave her like that. I run over and pull her close to me, she can't stop herself from crying as a tear rolls down my face also.

Y/N- you both left and the Ghost didn't come back. I didn't know who the men who took me were until they took their masks off at the warehouse.
Nat- who took you?
Y/N- my mother and brothers
Nat- you told me they were dead?
Y/N- I was told that Elijah and Noah died but I was lied to. My parents didn't want them harmed like me, they were born with their powers and controlled them as they grew up.
Nat- what did they want you for?
Y/N- they wanted me to get the serum you were looking for and I did
Nat- we needed that
Fury- no we didn't, it was designed to help Y/N gain the trust of her family

I didn't know what to think anymore, was Y/N working for us or against us?
Nat- so what next?
Fury- this conversation never happened and the Ghost continues when SHIELD needs them. Y/N comes back here and we help her find her brothers.
Y/N- as long as you're okay with me being here?
Nat- I'll be fine, it's just going to take some time for me to deal with this
Y/N- okay, I'm gonna head home and pack some bags then I'll come back

She gets up and leaves as Fury follows behind her. I take a seat at the table looking over the information Y/N had gathered and it was a lot. The gatherings helped a lot of Avengers missions as well as helping to take down corporations working against the government.

Y/N POV-

I head home and find my place in a complete mess, I stand the furniture up and clean the blood and glass of the floor.
I grab J.A.I's software and upload it to a new phone, I had broken mine in the fight.
Packing my bags and taking what I need, I headed back to the compound. Teleporting all of these things was tough so I did it in a couple trips as my body was already weak from before.

Wanda- so you're staying?
Y/N- yeah, they think it's safer here than me being at home
Wanda- I can protect you here, you'll be safe with me
Y/N- I know babe, thank you
Wanda- what happened there?
Y/N- I'm not ready to talk about it yet but when I am, I promise to let you know.
Wanda- that's okay, I'm here for you.
