Y/N POV-
I parked my car in my space for my apartment then teleported myself back to my house in England. It was the only place I wanted to be right now, it was quiet.

The trees surrounding the house echoed peace whilst animals eat the long grass by the road.
This place was heaven, it was quiet and simple. Nobody was going to turn up and disturb this, it was all I needed after today.
I went down into the bunker and opened up some of my old things. I'd kept them to remind me of my past, it was a good way of keeping control but part of me didn't want to keep control. I grab my phone and dial up Fury.

Fury- I heard what happened Y/N, are you okay?
Y/N- I'm done with them, I'm tendering my resignation with immediate effect
Fury- I'll only accept on one condition
Y/N- what's that?
Fury- if it's ever the end of the world tragedy and I need you, then you'll come back
Y/N- yeah okay
Fury- collect your things and I'll let the team know.
Y/N- if they can be shipped to me then I'd prefer that
Fury- we can arrange that

Nat POV-
We'd all be called back to the meeting room, we had no idea what it was about but all took our seats as Director Fury walked in.
Fury- I heard what happened this morning, you did not handle that correctly Tony
Tony- I did what I thought was right
Fury- well now I know who to blame for Y/N's resignation

Those words hit me hard, she was leaving again. I didn't think she was going anywhere but here she goes again
Wanda- she's gone?
Fury- yes Wanda and she isn't coming back here. The guys are in her room clearing out already.
Nat- you did this Tony, it's all your fault
The tears were rolling down my face as Wanda pulled me in close. I wanted to run and scream, I wanted to hold her in my arms again but I knew she was gone for good this time.

Y/N POV-
Leaving the Avengers was right for me, they all knew what I had done and I couldn't explain myself to them. I had no excuses or reasons for killing that many people but it happened.

It had been two weeks since I left the Avengers, I had kept in close touch with Natasha and Wanda. I didn't want to mess things up as badly as I did last time. All this free time was great but things were starting to get a little boring for me.
I head into the bunker and take out a secure, untraceable laptop and check my inbox. I had a system set up in which people could contact me in case they wanted to hire me.
To say it was rammed would be an understatement.

I deleted any older than a week because they'd have likely already been sorted by someone else.
I flicked through the emails and found one which interested me.
A hospital had been selling patient files to private companies for a lot of money. One member of the board wanted me to get evidence to prove it and then expose them. This was something I wanted to do, imagine feeling safe in a hospital to then realise they were selling your secrets for profit.

I arrange a meeting with the board member and it's in a couple days.
In the meantime, I needed a new suit. One that was fresh and didn't look like me. I couldn't just walk in there as me or someone else because things would be questioned. Being unknown would be easier.
I rummage through the things my mum had left behind and find an suit of hers, she used to go on missions for hydra as an explosives expert.
Her suit was black with a little purple and I liked it a lot.

I had to adapt the suit because I am a lot bigger than my mum ever was, she didn't need the muscle to fight, all she ever needed was her brains.
I spent a couple hours drawing up the new suit and it was everything I'd ever wished for.

I kept the suit light weight so it was easy for me to move around

I kept the suit light weight so it was easy for me to move around. Holsters around my thigh and ankle meant I had plenty of weapons whenever I needed it.
The mask was very important, having a 178IQ meant I could build my own artificial interface and implant it into the glasses.
It doesn't take long to build the perfect interface, it was better than what Stark had ever built and was going to help me on these missions.
It was just another interface so I named it J.A.I and it worked perfectly.

I turned up to the meeting wearing my new suit and J.A.I fully functioning, the board member told me where all the files were and how I could find them. Blueprints of the building were given to me as well as the security schedule.
It was heavily guarded but I could work my way through that.

Turning up outside the building and it was quiet, I slipped inside and the guards were all where they should be. I take down one from behind and keep it silent, I wasn't killing any of these people but just keeping them quiet for a little while.
The next guard was a lot bigger than me and he found my attempt pour. He grabbed his knife and sliced towards me but I just managed to move out of the way.

The fight kept going, I smashed his hand against the wall and the knife fell. A roundhouse kick to the face knocked the guard out instantly and I dragged his body into an office.
Heading down the hallway, I found the records room and plugged the USB in. All the files uploaded and with that, I left. I made sure to walk out of the building and out of camera sight, I couldn't have people suspecting it was me so I tried everything I could to make it less like me.

I took a copy of the files and sent the USB drive to a local news outlet.
The story broke within the next couple days and the private companies soon shut down, a lot of money paid to the victims of their fraud.
This is what I've wanted to do my whole life, I was doing good but being bad.
Oh and it feels so good to be bad.
