Part 8

Nat POV-
There's a sudden height pitch noise from the lab and we all turn
??- how could you be worthy, you are all killers
Steve- Stark? Why's there a robot here?
Stark- Jarvis reboot the system

Y/N continues to edge her way round the sofa, she can sense something but I'm not sure what. Maria looks towards her and she signals for Maria to protect Pepper.
The conversation continues as the robot discusses his plan
Bruce- It's Ultron
Ultron- in the flesh, well not quite yet
Thor's grip tightens on his hammer as Y/N gives Maria the final signal, she moves quickly as old Iron Man suits come flying towards us.

Flicking the table up, Steve deflects the first shot but goes flying back. Y/N slides down the ramp and heads towards Ultron avoiding shots, I run with Bruce and jump over the bar, using it was protection.
Y/N- NAT, stop Bruce from turning Green
I look up to see her fighting a suit, she smashes it before another grabs hold of her taking her into the air and colliding with a wall
Nat-Y/N!
Steve- I've got her
He takes out the robot and Y/N rolls on to the ground, a suit moved towards us and Y/N goes running at it
Y/N- MOVE!
I grab Bruce and we run for cover, I wanted to fight but I had to protect him. If he turned green then it would be over for all of us.
We've taken cover at the top of the stairs giving me a good view point, Helen is hiding behind the piano with one suit moving towards her
Nat- HELEN!

Y/N POV-
I hear the shout from Natasha and see Helen in danger, I grab Steve's shield and throw it towards him, he lands a direct hit on the robot as I head over to protect Helen.
Another suit is headed our way, I had to time this right and Tony was ready.
The blaster prepares and I push Helen out of the way taking the full force of the shot. I fall straight out of the window behind me and before I knew it, I landed hard as glass scatters around me.

I was winded and my shoulder killed but otherwise I was in one piece. I gingerly stood up and looked towards the broken window seeing Maria looking down at me
Maria- are you okay?
Y/N- superb, did you get Pepper out?
Maria- she's on her way home
I fist bump the air before stumbling backwards and passing out on the floor.

Maria POV-
I managed to get Pepper out before the fighting started, she was scared but I got her in the car with Happy and he would protect her.
I got back to the main room at the same time as Y/N went flying out the window. I looked towards the other who had all seen the same thing, Thor destroyed the last suit as I headed to the broken window
Y/N was up but looked like crap, we talked for a little before she collapses
I run down to her as quick as I can, Helen and Bruce follow.

Maria- Y/N, can you hear me?
Bruce checks her pulse as Helen clears the glass from the ground.
Bruce- she's out cold but otherwise looks okay, get her to the lab and we can sort her out.

It's been an hour since the incident and Y/N is stable in the lab, she hasn't woken up yet but Bruce said rhat was normal.
Nat- how's she doing?
Maria- okay, they aren't sure when she will wake up
Nat- she threw herself in front of Helen so she didn't get hurt
Maria- she's stupid but will do everything to protect her team
Nat- did we do everything we could to protect her?

Y/N POV-
I flicker my eyes open and the lights are bright, the last thing I remember is falling out a window so I'm hoping this isn't heaven.
Bruce- keep your eyes open Y/N, you can do it
I follow the voice and keep my eyes open noticing I'm in the lab with Bruce
Bruce- how do you feel?
Y/N- my head hurts
Bruce- that's not a surprise, can you get up?

I slowly push myself up and swing my legs out of the bed, dizziness fills my head but I take a moment to compose myself before getting up
Bruce- be careful, that fall was nasty
I nod and head towards the main room, the others are cleaning up and talking about what happened
Steve- so what is Ultron?
Tony- it's Jarvis as a real form, it just didn't work

I walk straight past them all without saying a word and begin to quicken until I get to my room. I head straight for the bathroom and throw up in the toilet. This wasn't a good sign, it showed that the concussion I had was worse than first thought.

I hear the door open behind me and a hand pulls my hair out of my face as I continue to throw up
Nat- get it all out, you're okay
I try to speak but continue to throw up. After some time, I've managed to stop as Nat grabs a wet cloth to help cool me down
Nat- you doing okay?
Y/N- I really wish I hadn't eaten so many cookies now
We laugh and she places the back of her hand on my forehead
Nat- you're way too hot
Y/N- I've been told many times
Nat- idiot, let's get you into bed.

I stand up and get into bed
Nat- I'll be downstairs if you need me
Y/N- wait...
Nat- whats wrong?
Y/N- can you stay?
Her face lights up as she closes the door and lays down next to me
Y/N- I'm sorry for falling out a window
Nat- You really scared me, I thought you were dead
Y/N- it's okay, I'm here
