Part 28

Nat POV-

This whole trip had been perfect and I'd only been here 3 days.
The thing I loved the most is how I'd always wake up next to her and we'd both be naked after our events from the night before.

This morning was the same, Y/N's arm wrapped around my stomach pulling me close to her as one of her legs entwined in mine.
I always woke up before her so I thought I'd have a little fun with it today.

I rolled over and she started to wake up.
Y/N- good morning beautiful
Nat- it is a good morning, it's going to get better for you
A look of confusion crosses her face before I kiss her. It's passionate already, we both couldn't keep our hands off each other and we knew it but we didn't care.

We keep kissing as my hand trails down her stomach, feeling her defined abs as I work my way down.
I stop just above my target and she nods giving me permission to go further.

I run my hand over her folds and she moans, god I love that sound.
I work her hard and she loves it, we finish up pretty quickly and decide to shower.

Y/N has hers and I wait back, I'd shower with her but it wasn't big enough for the both of us.
I jump in the shower washing my body after a rough night before.
I wrap the towel around me when I'm done and get dressed. It's warm so I put on a pair of denim shorts and a black vest.

Nat- what are you cooking?
Y/N- just making some pancakes, got some bacon as well here. Thought we worked up an appetite
Nat- god yeah, I'm starving
We eat the food and have a general chat not about too much in particular.

Nat- what are the plans for today?
Y/N- what do you wanna do?
Nat- I've loved the time here but is it okay if we head back soon?
Y/N- yeah of course, whenever you like
I could see the disappointment on her face but she didn't realise there was actually a reason for this. I knew this girl was special to me and I wanted to have a proper date with her.
One where we dressed up and everything was as we wanted it to be.

I pack up my bag and Y/N does the same, it's pretty quiet on the way back as Y/N drives. She's turned the radio on and I can hear her having a sing under her breath
Nat- do you know every song on the radio?
Y/N- I listen to a lot of music, I have it on when I train and pretty much when I'm alone. It's just easy for me to concentrate with.

We arrive back at the compound and Y/N heads straight to her room
Steve- what did you do?
He points at Y/N and glares at me
Nat- I didn't do anything, I have a plan okay but I'll need your help

Y/N POV-

So Natasha asking to come back early wasn't part of my plan but it was okay, if she didn't want to be there the whole time then what could I do about it?

I drop my things in my room and head into the briefing area where I knew Maria would be.
Maria- you are back early?
Y/N- she asked to come back
Maria- What did you do?
Y/N- I don't think I did anything, I know I have a reputation of saying or doing the wrong thing but I'm pretty sure everything was going well.
Maria- don't worry about it then, go for a run that normally helps
Y/N- yeah okay

I head back and get changed throwing on a pair of shorts, my sports bra and a vest. It wasn't overly warm outside but I could run for hours when my mind wasn't in the right place. I put my headphones in and grab my phone placing in a pouch on my arm.
I walk straight past everyone without saying goodbye and head for the door.

It was usual for me to be out running and they knew that, especially Steve. There had been days where we would go out for hours and just keeping running. Obviously he always ran more than me but if I were a super soldier then maybe, I could challenge him.

I run and run, not heading anywhere in particular. I knew the area well around the compound. I had been instructed to memorise the surroundings in case we were attacked so I knew the best places to run or to just stay out of the way.

There was a chill in the air as I hit the 2 hour mark but I wasn't tired. I hadn't been going at a majorly high pace but I knew I'd ran a good distance away from the compound as I was now in the city.
I stopped to grab a bottle of water and sat in a nearby park.

My phone beeps and it's a text from Steve which is weird considering I didn't even realise he knew how to use the phone we got him.

Captain- We need you back here now, send your location and someone will collect you

Great.
I do as he asks and I wait for the car to pull up. Knowing Steve, he would send Nat because that's his go to for favours. The car arrives and she pulls up beside the road
Nat- hey stranger, I've been asked to pick up a dumbass, you seen one around?
Y/N- if you look in the mirror visor then I'm sure you'd see one

I open the door and jump in the car, she looks at me like she wants to say something but doesn't
Y/N- what's wrong?
Nothing.
Y/N- I can see you want to say something so please just spill it
She takes a deep breath and I'm expecting the worst

Natasha- Y/N, marry me?
