Narrator POV-
You stood there ready as the soldier attacked. His fists flying at your head as you dodge each shot.
His movement slow compared to yours and it allowed you to get the upper hand, ducking under his next punch and connecting your foot with his ribs as he fell backwards. The soldier let out a low growl as he regained his composure, a knife being taken out of his belt
Y/N- okay cool so there's weapons
He ran at you, the knife slicking across your lower stomach
Y/N- Fuck!
The wound was only superficial, no internal damage done by it.He came at you again, this time, you were able to slide underneath him. Your leg kicking his back as he fell to the floor, an old rag lay discarded on the floor, this was exactly what you needed.
Wrapping it around your hand, you moved towards him. The rag acting as protection from the blade as you fended off the attacks. The knife came swinging at you as you caught it in your hand, the pressure of the soldiers strength slowly pushing the knife through the rag as blood started to spill out.
Manuel- Give up!
Y/N- so you do speak, thought you'd sound less girly. The knife slipped onto the floor, your foot kicking it under the nearest piece of furniture, a bookshelf.
Natasha screams were heard next, she was trying to fight of the armed men but they were too strong. The men dragging her out of the room.
You tried to get there but couldn't, the soldier tackling you into the bookshelf, it breaking as you went through it.??- Only one of you will leave this room alive, make the smart choice here Clarke.
Y/N- if I win?
??- we shoot her and you get to watch her bleed out.
Y/N- so if I give up, how do I know you won't hurt her?
??- that's the fun part, you don't.You couldn't risk losing, you had to save her and make sure that you both got out of here alive.
Stark would've tracked the signal by now so they would be here soon, not that we knew where here was."How the hell do I get out of here?" you thought, the windows were all barred but the door was standard. It would be easy to kick in but there would be people outside, if they all saw you coming then Natasha was better than dead.
Your attention turned back to the soldier, a gun holstered on his hip, that was your new target. Getting that gun would allow you to leave the room with protection.
He stalked his way across the room, his eyes trained on you and your movements.
The punches came again and he connected, his fist connecting with your jaw as you rolled onto the floor. His body weight now on top of you as he kept pounding down.Your body was slowly giving in as his hand wrapped around your throat, the pressure increasing as he started to squeeze the life out of you.
Your hands clawing at his but it was no use. They fell to your side, one landing on top of something.
Your fingers stretched along the material, getting a grip as you swung it, the wooden plank smashing upon impact across the soldiers head. His body now limp as his hands release your neck, a coughing fit erupted as your body forced the carbon dioxide out allowing the oxygen back in.
You rolled his body off of yours, taking the gun out of its holster and into your waistband.Y/N made her way to the door, attempting to twist the knob but no luck. Barging into the door didn't do a thing either.
??- Tut Tut Miss Clarke, we both know you aren't getting out of that room.
Y/N- what do you need from me?
??- Nothing, we are just waiting for you to watch thisPart of the wall opened revealing a Tv showing CCTV from another room, Natasha on her knees as a man held a gun to her head
Y/N- I'll do anything, just don't kill her
??- you are both going to dieThe man took a couple sets back and pulled the trigger
Y/N- NOOOO!
Natasha feel to her side, blood pouring from the new wound in her stomach
??- how's it going to feel watching the person you love die and not being able to help them? I already know the answer, it's time for you to figure it out.The super soldier started to get up, he wasn't done yet but you were.
Manuel- it is your fault she's dying
Y/N- what?
Manuel- if you didn't fight back and I killed you, then she'd be alive
Y/N- that's not trueHe attacked once again, his movements were far quicker and better than before, almost as if he was letting you win.
The Super Solider was far stronger than you and he easily overpowered you. His fists repeatedly striking your body as each punch got harder by the second, there was only one way to win this.Wanda POV-
We arrived on site and entered the building, the task was to find Natasha and Y/N then to get them back to the jet as quick as we could.
The building was large, a couple of rooms per pair to search so if they were still here then we'd find them, eventually.
Bucky and I went into the first room, empty.
The second room we entered was full of paperwork, all covering what the Avengers were about as well as documents on how to recreate the great Captain AmericaSteve- I've got Natasha, critical condition.
Maria- take the jet, I've got another one on its way to you already.
Steve- Bruce, Clint and Peter, come with me.The ground rumbled as the jet took off, Clint flying them to the nearest hospital.
Bucky- she's got to be here
Wanda- calm down, we will find her.A loud shot rang around the building, was that a gun?
Wanda- did everyone here that?
Tony- Friday, locate the shot
Friday- South corner, third room on the left. That was close to us. We both have each other a look before running down the corridor.
Bucky saw the door was bolted shut, no chance anyone inside could have come out from there.I curled the red wisps in my hand ripping the door off it's hinges throwing it behind me.
It was a blood bath.
