Part 26

Y/N POV-

I'd spoken to Thor and he was going to figure out what was going on with the Sword. He couldn't lift it either which honestly was amazing.

I had headed up to my room and soon realised most of my things were still at my undercover place so I had to make do with what I had here.
I needed a shower because I had blood all over me and I smelt so bad from the fight.
The refreshing water ran down my body as I stood and embraced it. My body was worn down and hurt from the pain endured over the last few months.

So yes, I hadn't told Maria the full story of what happened undercover but they didn't need to know everything. I didn't want them to worry about me but I knew they were going to have questions and my reports were going to raise some suspicion but I could deal with that another day.

I'd finished showering and head into my room seeing Nat sat on the bed
Nat- can we talk?
Y/N- yeah of course, something wrong?
Nat- I missed you
Y/N- I missed you too
I throw some clothes on and sit down next to her, she rests her head my shoulder as I wrap my arm around her
Y/N- but I'm here now and I don't plan on going anywhere for a while
Nat- you promise?
Y/N- yes I promise, how about I cook us some dinner and we can watch movies together?
Nat- that sounds perfect

Nat POV-

Y/N cooked us the best dinner I think I'd ever eaten, it may have been a simple chilli but it tasted amazing and she knew it.
Once we'd cleaned up, I dragged her upstairs into her room and pushed her down onto the bed.

Y/N- this doesn't seem like we are going to watch movies?
Nat- would you prefer movies to sex?
Y/N- hell no
I straddle her lap and she kisses me instantly, it's deep and passionate. She takes full control as her tongue forces it's way into my mouth. I can't help but moan into her mouth and I can feel her smirking against my lips.

I run my hands under her shirt and she moves away
Nat- woah hey, did I do something wrong?
Y/N- no you didn't, I just... I haven't been honest with you
Nat- what did you do?
Y/N- nothing, I just didn't report an incident when undercover
Nat- are you serious? Show me.

My voice was stern and she could see I wasn't joking around. I knew what she was like and didn't let people know things but why would she lie to me?
Nat- take off your shirt now
She does as I say and her stomach is covered in bruises as well cuts.
I run my finger along them and I can see the pain in her face

Nat- what happened?
Y/N- in order to be welcomed to the cartel, you need an initiation
Nat- how bad was it?
Y/N- I was walking home and they jumped me, 6 of them beat me up and then one stabbed me. The rules were don't tell anyone and don't end up in hospital
Nat- are you stupid? you could have DIED!
Y/N- yes I know and I couldn't have done anything about it. I had already taken the beating so there was no point being pulled out, they would've realised

I stand up and head to the door
Nat- do you even think about me when you make these stupid decisions? I don't know what I'd ever do without you and yet, you keep thinking you can do whatever you want
Y/N- that's not fair
Nat- YES IT IS! You don't get to do this on your own anymore, we are together and you aren't alone. Stop being such an idiot and think about the person who loves you

I can feel myself getting upset and I just didn't want to deal with that right now. I open the door and walk out, Y/N doesn't bother to follow and that's probably the best thing right now.

Y/N POV-

I sit on the bed thinking about what she said, I knew I had made a stupid decision and I knew I needed to be better for her but it was hard.
I'd spend so long focusing on myself and it not mattering what other people thought but now, I had someone who cared for me so I couldn't keep being so reckless.

Maria- can I come in?
Y/N- I'm not really in the mood to talk
Maria- we all heard what happened, I know you don't deal with arguments to well
Y/N- I really messed this up
Maria- yeah you did
Y/N- thanks, supportive as ever there
Maria- I'm not going to lie to you, maybe you should think about her next time to you decide to get jumped
Y/N- I have a way to make it up to her but I'm gonna need your help
Maria- I'm all in Y/N, just let me know what you need

I sit and explain the plan to her, I knew Nat wasn't coming back any time soon so it made this easier.
Maria- it sounds perfect, when do you want it done?
Y/N- let's give her a couple days to cool off and then it's a go.
