Part 22

I head back to my room and see Natasha asleep on my bed, I kiss her forehead and dump my file on the desk so I can read through it later.

Nat- what was the meeting about?
Y/N- I've got a mission
She shoots up and stares at me
Nat- you've got to be joking?
Y/N- no one else can do it, I'm the only one that fits the profile
Nat- show me
I hand her the file and she takes her time reading though it, the room filled with silence as she does so.
Nat- this is dangerous but you're right
Y/N- Loki is dangerous, he has attacked once before and we can't let him do it again
Nat- be safe okay
Y/N- I will be, I promise you

I pack a bag of my things and head towards my car, Natasha walked with me as I said goodbye to the Avengers who were there. I didn't know how long this mission was going to be, all I knew was that I needed to get the information no matter what.

*Time Skip*

I've been gone for 3 months now and I've collected a lot of information. I had been fighting alongside this Cartel and getting what they needed as long as Hill said it was okay.

I walk round the corner and see my boss, Hector, talking to a tall man with dark hair. I knew immediately that was Loki and I had to be involved in that conversation

Hector- ah Y/N, come meet our special guest
I walk over and smile at Loki, I didn't speak much as I wasn't meant to be heard. I was a no one in this role and I had to keep it like that.
Loki- well aren't you gorgeous, who may you be?
Y/N- Y/N Anderson, I'm Hectors bodyguard
Loki- a women as a bodyguard? Well I love the power you possess here
Hector- Okay let's stop flirting and get down to business

They head into a spare room and I keep watch from outside. I had bugged the room so the conversation would be recorded and Maria would be listening
They spend the next hour or so in there before coming outside

Loki- my dear Y/N, I'd love it if you walked with me
Y/N- sure thing Sir, is there anything in particular you need?
Loki- I want you to stand alongside me at the great battle, a powerful women by my side as my Queen
Y/N- your Queen?
Loki- I'm taking over New York and then the world, we can rule together

Maria POV-

Y/N was doing an incredible job on this mission, she had gained an overwhelming amount of information not just about Loki but about the whole Cartel itself. We could take them down as soon as we figured out what Loki was doing.

Their meeting gave us all the information we needed, he was trying to invade New York... again.
The Avengers had stopped him once before and we were prepared to do it again, if Y/N was working on his side then it would allow us to control everything.

When she finished with Loki and was dismissed for the day, I contacted her through a secure line

Y/N- did you get everything you needed?
Maria- it's enough but we want you to accept Loki's offer
Y/N- why?
Maria- if we can corner him then maybe it'll be easier for us, we know his plan but having you close will be crucial in case he changes things
Y/N- okay sure, tell Natasha I'm okay and I'll be home soon
Maria- will do, she misses you
Y/N- I miss her too but this job needs to get done

That was the last I spoke to her, she sounded like she was okay and things were going well.
I reassured Nat that everything was fine and now we just had to wait for Y/N to let us know the finer details of Loki's plan.
He had attacked before and it caused a lot of damage to the city so being 2 steps ahead of him was a great thing for us.

Y/N POV-

I headed back to the office and found Loki waiting for me already
Loki- my Queen, you came back
Y/N- I'm in, just get me out of here
Loki- your wish is my command

He wraps his arm around my waist and we walk out the building together. He takes control of a taxi driver and he drops us off at a location that wasn't known to me.
It was some sort of old building, it looked rundown on the outside but the inside was new and modern. Loki was powerful so I assumed a cloaking device was used to keep people away.

Loki- are you ready my dear?
Y/N- ready for what exactly?
Loki- tomorrow, this darned nation will be ours and by the end of the week, we will run the whole world. Galaxies will be begging us to help them whilst anyone who threatens our power will be wiped out of existence
I smile at him and nod my head
Y/N- let's do this

He walks closer to me and wraps his arms around my waist again pulling me close to him
Loki- as my Queen I need to know, are you here for power or for me? Be truthful my dear, I know if you're lying
Y/N- I want the power, the ability to rule over everyone and have them on my knees for me is something I cannot say no to
He lets go and takes a step back
Loki- I appreciate the honesty my Queen, friends it is

He showed me to a room where I could get some rest and it was good enough for the night. I had to inform the team of what was happening but it wasn't going to be easy.
I drop a quick text to Maria and hope she understands.
