My heart flattered when I heard David said my name. My actual birth name. And he said in a way that was so incredible enchanting and it just sounded better when he said it.

He has called me by many names. Ariel, Anela, Love, and Darling.
But never by my first name, and just as those names which also caused my heart to get jumpy and my stomach to turn.
Yet the way my first name flaws smoothly off his tongue beats the rest out the park.

I can't describe it, even if I tried. It just sounded so perfect and it drove me crazy. As if he was the only person who could ever say my name perfectly.

He might have thought that I didn't hear him the first time. Or maybe he just wanted to say it again for good measure,

"Jennifer." As I stared down at me, all I wanted to do was kiss him. Not for any specific reason, but just to be intimate with him again. We haven't been like this with one another for the longest time.

Before when we were dating lowkey, we weren't crazily making out every five seconds of every hour. However we would hold hands, cuddle while watching a movie or series. And just being together as a couple with privacy.

But things have changed between us, and there are things that he and I have to work out. Things that takes time, and we can't jump in, rush into them. Otherwise everything will just fall apart, and the last thing that I want is to lose one of the most important relationships of my life.

Once we've worked everything out and have some kind of solid ground, we'll see where we stand as a couple. That's if we'll even stay as a couple.

All of these thoughta were rushing to my mind as I kept staring down at him. Taking in every detail of the handsome face that belong to the young man who has captured my heart in so many ways.

The urge to be intimate with him was strong, but losing him, losing us was a greater risk that I wasn't willing to take. So, I leaned forward and kiss his forehead, instead of kissing those tempting lips, "Thank you for finally acknowledging my first name."

I climbed off him, and then off the bed. The room became too hot all of a sudden and then it started spinning. Just when I felt myself losing balance, David caught me just in time.

How did he move so fast?

Then he laid me down on the bed, pulling a blanket over me. Not looking annoyed and upset for what I did, "You still had a head injury and have to rest."

I still wasn't happy that I had to miss out of the next final practice before the final match. I blame the hotel, they didn't get the stairs sorted out on time. "I hate being on leave from soccer."

Softly chuckling at my pouting before kissing my forehead, "Don't worry, Jennifer. You'll be playing soon."

Smiling at him before getting another kiss on my forehead and a hug, "Goodnight, Jennifer."

"Goodnight, David."

"Thank you for breakfast again, guys," I said to Haylie and Cameron, who made this huge breakfast for me. They're still shaken up by what happened last night.
Checking up on me every thirty minutes, making sure that I wasn't 'overworking' myself. Whatever that means.

Kissing my forehead with a soft smile, Haylie said, "Anything to make you feel a bit better, cuz."

Sharing the same smile before taking the plates to the sink. I sent some morning messages to my Dad, and my siblings as greeted. And none of them doesn't knows about what happened last night.
