As I plan for the Empire roleplay and fic, it's time to make a territory. It will be set in the Canadian boreal forest, but this forest has seven ecozones, all with slightly different landscapes. The animals and temperature are mostly the same. I've cut it down to a few, and I wanna hear what you all think!
TAIGA CORDILLERA: - mountains and valleys, northwest has wetlands and hills, north has tundra - western slopes have more precipitation, southern warmer and drier. birch, fir, spruce, aspen, poplar, willow, aven, Heather, bearberry, larkspur, forget me not, Camas, cottongrass, sedge, lousewort. - alpine regions, lowland forest, wetlands. bears, lemmings, marmot, beaver, squirrel, caribou, mountain goat, mink, gull, tattler, grouse, flicker, thrush, raven, fox, coyote, wolf, lynx, fish.
