You guys wanna laugh at the absolute stupidity of a girl I know? This girl moved from the u.s to nz for a year, caused a BUNCH of drama (literally my entire year group have had incidents with her. Even me, and I'm very quiet and don't have many friends irl) and then fucked off back to the u.s.
I posted this on my ig story, because I've seen a few people posting in favour of the police. The girl I'm talking about had been going on about her cop uncle and how he was a good person. (No one is saying all cops are bad people. We're saying all cops are bad cops, because the system is built on and perpetrates racism.)

HOW IS "YOU DON'T LIVE IN AMERICA" A VALID ARGUMENT AGAINST HAVING OPINIONS IN BLM? Did I miss something? Do americans live in a vacuum? Do y'all live on the fucking moon?? You're just floating around in space?
I'm honestly so baffled. I've been in plenty of stupid internet arguments and have heard the dumbest things - other chapters in here are an example - but this is something else. How little grasp can you have on the world to believe that what's going on in your country doesn't effect others. Like it or not, people in other countries are watching what's going on in america, and we are sickened. Nz was founded on white supremacy ideals just like america. Racism against black people happens here too. Even if it didn't, there is nothing wrong with standing up for human rights wherever you are.
