I haven't really talked about it on here but I'm a huge Taylor Swift fan. Have been since the Fearless era when I was around 6. I've grown up with Taylor and I adore her.
Folklore was incredible. Taylor's always been an incredible songwriter but this was a new level. It was so poetic and beautiful and was right up my alley. So you can imagine the emotional rollercoaster that hit when she up and released another surprise album, Evermore.
I FUCKING LOVE IT. SO MANY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS BUT I'M GONNA WAIT TO GET MY HEAD TOGETHER BC ITS 2AM AND I JUST FELT THE ENTIRE RANGE OF HUMAN EMOTION IN THE SPACE OF AN HOUR.
Anyway, the writing inspo HIT with some of those songs. I want to write a bunch of short stories or one shots inspired by some of the songs. Like Champagne Problems, Tis The Damn Season, Dorothea, and Ivy. The storytelling and the imagery in this album absolutely killed me and now I just wanna write some shit based on it.
They'd be like that piece I wrote for my english assignment that I wrote and shared on here earlier this year. I had so much fun writing that piece and I think it's one of the best things I've written, so I want to play around with writing that kind of thing again. Aaaaand if they come out well I can potentially use them as application pieces for the writing courses I want to do an uni in my second/third/+ years.
So what I'm saying is...watch this space for some writing lol.
