I have two fic ideas and I'm not sure which one I want to write first so I want to get your opinions!!
1.) The BlackbirdNight fic. The overall plot for this is following Brokenstar's rise to power and the aftermath of his leadership and Blackbirdflight's involvement in this. I need to add this into my ShadowClan worldbuilding chapter but ShadowClan form little cliques or very close groups within their Clan. This is of course what Brokentail does and he uses his group to his advantage, using them to help him rise in power and carry out schemes. Blackbirdflight ends up being part of his group and sees all his evil actions first hand and up close, often helping out. She hates this but is unable to get out. Nightpelt is very against Brokenstar.
This continues until he is driven out and into Nightstar's leadership, dealing with the carrion-place and Nightstar's lack of lives.
I don't want to go too much in detail, haha. But lots of cute BlackbirdNight scenes and it follows the development of their relationship.
2.) This follows three Clans who live in Arthur's Pass in nz. Two Clans, one living in the east side and one living in the west side join together into one huge Clan.
This fic follows the repercussions of this huge change and the political and social disasters that follow, for both the two Clans who have joined together and the one Clan that is left out. I don't want to give away the big event but this could possibly be two books, however I fucking struggled getting enough prefixes for three Clans, let alone doing it all over again for a next generation. All I'm saying is it's going to be very fucking dramatic and exciting.

THE DILEMMA: I really want to write both. I can't write both. I already have one fic underway and the most I can do is two at a time.
So I have to make a decision and I don't want to. Aaaaa
On one hand I want to do my BlackbirdNight fic because I've been waiting to do this one for a while. Like, back in Blackbird Chirps era me (pffft why do I like the idea of defining myself by which smb I had going at the time. Idk I feel like I'm a complete different person in each of them) and like ?? It's been waiting so long. I want to write about this ship and bring it justice.
Buuuut I want to write this other idea too. For one it isn't an au. And idk I'm already writing one au at the moment and I feel like it would be nice for me to write a whole new set of characters made up by me only.
However. BlackbirdNight is more developed in terms of planning and my other idea is fairly new and I'm worried it's Shiny New Idea syndrome.
Anyway what are your thoughts?
