So. I've been very depressed recently. I have exams coming up - My first one in a few days- but I've has absolutely no motivation or energy to study. These last few weeks I've been busy with my grandad's funeral, moving my gran into a rest home, and my nana into a retirement village. So when I've had free time, I've been in bed. Because depression, ya know.
But turns out spending hours in bed is extremely boring. Sure, I could be writing or worldbuilding, but that takes thinking, and thinking takes effort. So I found myself watching a bunch of My Little Pony clips and episodes. Anyway here's some sexuality headcanons I've come up with.
Twilight Sparkle - bisexual! I'd say she's demi as well. I personally shi0 her with Sunset Shimmer.
Rarity - Bisexual as well. She's dating Applejack. Rarijack is an adorable ship, and I love opposites attract. Buuuut I have to say I have some reservations about this one because their lifestyles are so different.
Pinkie Pie - Aro/ace! I know a lot of people see her as pansexual (I like that too) and in canon she has a kid with Cheese Sandwich, but I really like the idea of aro/ace Pinkie. She doesn't show much interest in romance throughout the majority of the show, but more importantly, she's the exact opposite of the aro/ace stereotype. I absolutely hate the stereotype that all aro/ace characters are these quiet, introverted, disinterested characters. Pinkie is loud, spontaneous, extroverted, and passionate. I'll make a full rant about this because it annoys me so much. The majority of characters I see headcanoned as aromantic or asexual fit this stereotype. Why is this stereotype acceptable while other lgbt+ stereotypes aren't? I actually really like this headcanon, mainly for salty reasons. I also like the idea that she's nonbinary.
Rainbow Dash - a lesbian. Her mane is fucking rainbow. What did you expect me to say. As of the finale she seemed to be living with Applejack but I am And always have been I diehard Flutterdash stan. Still, Rainbow can date both of them.
Applejack - trans lesbian. She's dating both Rarity and Rainbow Dash.
Fluttershy - oh man. I love this girl. I have two opposing headcanons for her, aaaaa. I really like femme lesbian fluttershy, dating rainbow dash. Buuuut I also like pansexual fluttershy dating Rainbow and Discord.
Also Sunset Shimmer is a lesbian and Discord is agender.
Another miscellaneous and salty headcanons is that Fluttershy is very tall. Rainbow Dash is short. Because I'm so tired of the character trope of gentle soft shy characters always being short (even though that's me) and strong, tough, buff, athletic characters being tall. Let short people be tough too. Let tall people be gentle.
