addiction - hyunchan

one

an upper-cut to the chin caused hyunjin flying onto the grey tile floor of the campus cafeteria. before he could make way into a defensive stance once more, the older sat on top of his stomach and pinned his hands above his head by a tight grip of the wrists. he continued to punch the long haired male continuously until blood was oozing from his nose and the back of his skull.

hyunjin was weak and felt defenseless but he managed to build up enough strength to knee the male in the back, causing in him to jolt forward. it left a second of time for hyunjin to shove the male off him, which he did. once away from the older he waited for the perfect time to use the final move that would surely end the fight today. so as the shorter male turned around, hyunjin took his foot that was covered with his favorite shoe, his old run down high top coverse, and lodged it between the dudes legs, targeting his balls. the male fell to the ground in a fit of immense unbearable pain. "fuck you and your future kids, chan." hyunjin spat before exiting the scene, only slightly worried about his own injuries since all he could focus on was the way everything was echoing in his head and the prickling tingles in his fingertips.

this was quite usual to the campus students. to see this particular pair getting into verbal and physical fights was not to far from a weekly occurrence. it might be some petty student fight to the teachers and surrounding students, but to the boys and their close friends it was known to go much deeper.

it all started in spring of 2015. hyunjin had just turned 15 and was a grade 10 student at rather large high school in seoul. christopher, better known as chan, was a 17 year old grade 12 transfer student from australia.

nothing out of the ordinary happened until the night of prom...or more specifically the after party.

hyunjin hadn't been invited to prom since it was a dance strictly for grade 11 and 12 only, but lucky for him, he knew about the after party that was being held at the lee residence, by minho, the eldest son. excitingly enough, he just happened to be close friends with the youngest son, felix, and was easily snuck into the party.

as for chan, he had attended prom, single, but with his small group of friends that consisted of lee minho, seo changbin, and han jisung. yes han jisung was in grade 10 but was escorted to the prom by lee minho, allowing him to be present.

it's not that chan couldn't have brought any person of his choice, he simply decided it was best to stay single and avoid relationship drama.

...it had been hours into the party and the wreckless teens were either drunk or high out of their minds off marijuana or any drugs they were offered. hyunjin sat in the corner of the room with his best friend lee felix who was quite literally panicking.

"hyunjin- this is not a good idea. y-you should really stop...wh-what if your parents find out?!" his voice was shaky, not only worried for his friend, but scared his eldest brother would spot them in the large crowd.

hyunjin took his time crushing the pills with his house key, that he kept on him at all times, and snorting them just to feel the euphoric high he got every time. "chill out lix, it's not like my parents give a flying fuck about the shit i do. i'm just livin~" the weight of his problems slowly left as nothing but an addictive sense of tingles surged through his body, his face felt hot but in a good way that made him only want to feel this exotic sensation forever.

"it's dangerous-"

"i said chill out. i'm fine, actually i'm better than ever." hyunjin rested a hand on the extremely petite shaking boy. "if you're scared of getting caught we can go back to your room" hyunjin offered.

if felix had to be honest, he was scared to enter his room alone with hyunjin while he was not only under the influence of a bit of alcohol, but questionable amphetamines and other drugs he was uncertain of. but he did want to go back to his room, he was beginning to feel anxious in the large area with so many people that weren't in their right minds. "i'll go back alone, you stay and have fun." felix quickly scurried out of the party and to hyunjins knowledge, probably locked himself in his room to sleep.
