still no news from the doctors and chan now had another problem to handle. minho was now awaiting outside of the hospital for jisung, while felix was fast asleep in the lobby and it was chan's priority to make sure jisung would be safe.

"chan, i'll be fine. he's been my boyfriend for 6 years, i know how to handle it by now..." jisung huffed as the elder was persistently asking him weather he would be okay or not as he escorted him to the parking lot.

"i understand that jisung, but you're being abuse and—and raped even just because he's intoxicated...i really think you should stay with us until we get him into rehab or something..." wherever jisung went with this conversation, chan still wasn't allowing him to go home with minho.

jisung stopped in his tracks "rehab? hyunjin didn't need rehab, he just needed someone to care enough for him. i'm just not caring enough."

chan sighed and pulled the unstable boy into get another hug, just outside the entrance. "hyunjin may have been in a similar situation, he did get physical and he did some really dumb mistakes such as harassment as well. and i'm not saying that him being intoxicated is an excuse for him not to be held accountable because it's not, but i'm saying that minho knows that you care, and deep down he cares for you too. but in the state he is in, he should not be coming around you with underlying anger because of something hyunjin got you pulled into. so let me walk you to the car, i'm going to try and have a civil talk with minho and if i don't like where it's headed, i'm taking you back inside. got it?"

chan wanted to make sure that jisung would be safe and from what he's collected, that's not with minho right now. someday in the future things may get better, but this was the present and it was a problem.

jisung nodded, understanding chan's plan and they continued to walk towards minhos vehicle. you see, chan would not deem minho a horrible boyfriend, although he technically was, he also understood minhos situation after dealing with hyunjin this past month. he understood that an intoxicated mind is nothing like a sober one. now, alcohol is a whole other ball park, a drunk is much harder to deal with than a high. he was now starting to put together why minho had so much against hyunjin and his addiction. while his mind was intoxicated himself, he couldn't handle someone doing a dangerous drug in his own household while peer pressuring his younger brother. chan couldn't blame the alcoholic when he himself could understand why a protective older brother wouldn't want someone so involved with drugs and connections to be influencing his family. it started to make sense.

it started to make sense that minho was unaware of what hyunjin was going through. he couldn't see that by taking felix away from him, he was taking his last loved one who was keeping him stable. by taking away felix, the alcoholic officially pushed the addict down the wrong path.

chan had grown a small hatred towards minho for being so ignorant and treating jisung so terribly. yet he could understand that an intoxicated mind so deep under the influence is unable to identify the mistakes they are making until it is too late. he couldn't fully blame minho, he couldn't make the same mistake he made with hyunjin by assuming what they had going on was nothing. he couldn't judge minho like he had hyunjin. he simply could not make that mistake twice.

"jisung." a voice said monotonously as the two approached minhos vehicle. "thank you for walking him out here chan, but we will be going now." he flashed a convincing smile as he grabbed jisungs hand and intertwined their fingers. the youngest of the three stood there not knowing what to do. he would usually play along when in front of other people such as chan, but what was the point if chan knew the truth.

"actually, i wanted to talk to you a bit before you head back home." chan spoke up making minho furrow his brows.

"talk? what is there to possibly talk about at 4:30 in the morning?" minho asked trying to keep his cool.
