calling "felix"

ring...

ring...

ring...

"hey chan how it goi- are you crying?"

chan sniffled and wiped his anxious tears away "felix, hyunjins in the hospital right now and before you freak out...he-he's okay. now at least. just please come, he will want you here when he wakes up"

although felix wasn't sure what the exact situation was, he knew chan was probably better off explaining in person. a hospital visit wasn't something felix didn't see coming. it was expected at some point, he's just surprised it was so soon. "i'm on my way"

call ended.

when felix abruptly stood up from the couch in his parents home, stuffing his phone in his pocket, all eyes turned to him. "babe, is chan alright?" changbin asked seeing the worried look upon his boyfriends face.

felix would have told changbin the truth...unfortunately minho and jisung were in the same room and they could not know felix had been seeing and keeping contact with hyunjin these past few days. not when they have yet to lift the restraining order. "no, he's um he needs my help. you can stay here with minho and jisung if you'd like, i'm going to head out for a while and help him out."

felix could have offered his boyfriend to come with but he knew changbin would be mad at him for some petty reason. although, changbin could already see the boy was lying and to be quite honest it did piss him off. not because he didn't care about saving hyunjin, it was because felix had yet to tell minho the situation because he was too afraid, to afraid of standing up for himself and changbin wanted to scream at him for it. if the older had to be yelled at because felix decided to stand up for himself and teach him what was right and wrong about the addicts situation, than there was no fucking reason something should be keeping him from telling his brother too.

at this point, felix was taking part in hurting hyunjin, because all hyunjin wanted was felix, but the australian was too busy procrastinating because he was afraid to tell minho.

so changbin decided to take action, and for once, he was positive this was the right thing to do. "felix stop lying. please. stop lying to me, to yourself, to your brother and friends. just stop. do you understand we could have lifted the restraining order already if you would have asked minho the night we got here? do you realize you are hurting hyunjin every second that you're waiting? you don't need to lie and say chan needs your help. i'm one of his best friends, he would have called me if it was really about him."

felix stood still. he was scared, scared of making eye contact with anyone in that moment and be faced with the fact he was wrong for lying.

"hyunjin?! you were going to see hyunjin??" minho asked stepping forward and grabbing on to felixs wrists. "what the hell is wrong with you, huh?! all he's going to do is be a bad influence on you!" minho yelled.

felix looked at the hand on his wrist with pure anger. a feeling he had held back all there years...a burning hatred for his brother for what he cause, what he did to him. because of minho, felix no longer had hyunjin in his life and this was the last thing he needed right now. he needed to get to the hospital, but of course minho would do anything to stop him.

today felix would not let that happen.

he clenched the fist minho had not in his grasp, hesitating at first he pulled his arm back and with full force he swung his fist at minhos face. "AHHH" felix screamed when putting all 62 kilograms of his weight into the punch, finally letting 5 years of silence out within a single action. "FUCK YOU! fuck you minho! i fucking hate you so much! i hate you i hate you I HATE YOU!" he cried breaking down, nearly falling to the floor but was caught by changbin who decided it was best to keep silent. felix deserved to let it all out, he couldn't interfere.

"do you know how much i've suffered because of you?..." he voice was now quiet as he broke down, tears rushing down his cheeks. "i've spent five years alone. no matter who told me they loved me, no matter who held me at night, the was always part of me that felt so fucking empty. so i was alone, hyunjin was alone and neither of us could see each other because of you. weather you think what you did was right, you were wrong. and you're part of the reason why he's in the hospital today. if you would've offered him help instead of throwing him out like some animal, he would've been okay."

"felix i-"

"don't fucking talk to me. i can't forgive you for all the mental health damage you caused me, at least my boyfriend was there for me and helped me. all you did was insist keeping him away was better for everyone. did you ever once think of the hell you put hyunjin through? let me just give you a taste; if he would've killed himself, you would be one of the two people to put the blame on. just sit and think about that. you fucking disgust me minho, and fuck you too jisung for not sticking up for our friend. you never once fought for him, you just sat back and let it happen...that makes you just as guilty."

felix looked up at minhos pathetic bruising face one last time before storming out of the house, leaving changbin there as well.

he felt good

finally telling his son of a bitch brother all he had fucked up doing. so now he was off to the hospital, ready to break off from the shackles minho had been tying him down with. today he was independent, and that's how it would stay. starting today he would focus on hyunjin weather or not the police got involved he didn't care. it's not like they could arrest a man who was in a hospital bed because someone he wasn't supposed to be around came to visit him. plus, the only way the police would get involved in the first place was if minho sent them at this point. which was unlikely.

finally he made it to the hospital and was led to hyunjins room where chan awaited. the elder looked restless, tear stained cheeks and red eyes. as much as felix hated him, he couldn't imagine what kind of pain he had been in. for chan, after seeing hyunjin in a state he wasn't even aware of. in reality chan had rushed the addict in his arms to the hospital thinking he wasn't going to make it. crying, shaking, bleeding, coughing, yelling, vision blurring... chan had carried that in his arms, pure fear that he might never see hyunjin again after putting him on the stretcher.

he couldn't thank the universe enough for that not to be the case.

chan told felix everything and the younger couldn't help but pull chan into a hug. he could finally see how chan had changed his mindset and was now willing to fight for hyunjin. honestly felix saw something more in the males eyes while speaking but he couldn't lay his finger on it. he just knew somehow, finally...

chan really did care for hyunjin.
