changbin had given hyunjin his sweatshirt to prevent anyone noticing felix and him were close together. the long haired male draped the hood over his head and kept his eyes fixated on the ground while his best friend and changbin walked him back to his dorm.

luckily not too many students were out walking around to notice the higher class males walking through campus with the addict.

once they made way into the  dorm complex that hyunjins dorm was located in, the addict took the lead and walked them up two flights of stairs and down a long hall of dirty tiles and occasional broken lights.

hyunjin hesitated when reaching for his key causing changbin to get impatient. "hyunjin hurry up. felix and i had places to be 30 minutes ago." he seemed simply aggravated.

"binnie, don't be mean" felix turned to the elder with a much more piercing glare than expected from the indication tone in his voice. felix was well know for always being a bit passive aggressive.

hyunjin turned around to look his best friend in the eye. while doing so, he had revealed the tears that were spilling down his cheeks to felix, who in response engulfed him in a warming embrace. "i don't want to loose you again. i need someone like you around lix, i need someone to love me. it hurts feeling alone and helpless and i know as soon as i walk back in those doors that i'll loose you again and feel empty."

felix stepped back from the embrace and wiped the tears from the males face. "i'll come back, jinnie. i will. i'll come back as soon as i get rid of that restraining order. but until then i need you to stay strong for me okay?"

upon hearing the voices outside of the dorm, the door opened to show none other than bang chan, changbins high school buddie, better known as the man felix had unresolved problems with for the exact reason you would expect him to. that being the way he hurt hyunjin.

the addict turned around to see what all the small gasps and shocked facial expressions were all about, he should've known it would be the person he hated most. "what are you doing in my dorm." he snarled, wiping away the tears to act a bit more tough in the situation.

"i was waiting for you to come back. not that i wanted to but, seungmin and jeongin have been staying in my dorm and they told me that i need to fix this" he mentioned, pointing at himself as well as the addict implying what he needed to fix was their relationship.

changbin felt the tension in the air which to him was a clear signal that it wasn't the best time to get all sappy with the 'hey man, how've you been?' shit. to add on to that, he was aware that his boyfriend wasn't the biggest fan of chan as well.

"whatever." hyunjin rolled his eyes and turned back to felix, leaning in to whisper. "please stay for a bit longer...i need you here."

felix nodded, he understood that a lot of hyunjins impulses were caused by the simple root of chan, and if he had to cancel a few daily plans for his bestfriend he hadn't seen in years, then he would do just that. "chan, would you mind moving so hyunjin and i can get inside?" again, he spoke visibly and verbally passive aggressive.

"but felix we need to go."

"i'll tell my parents we aren't coming. it's no big deal to miss out on a family dinner, plus i'd rather not see minho anyways." the blond stated as he pulled his best friend into the dorm.

changbin remained out in the hallway with chan who surprisingly didn't give him any larger of a greeting than a wave. eventually all four males were in the small dorm. hyunjin and felix were seated on the addicts bed while chan and changbin sat awkwardly on the futon, they felt out of place.

"now i don't mean to intrude, chan, but i've been caught up on the current situation and i'd like to have a personal conversation with you. hyunjin, is it okay if i talk to him for a moment" felix glanced at hyunjin who nodded.

"i need to..." the addict pointed at his dresser. "i need to um, yeah"

felix had caught on that he meant take more substances. although he wanted to tell him no, he wasn't sure if being in a new situation, or in other words, a situation that he didn't encounter on his day to day basis. felix worried that pressuring the male to get sober at this very moment would be mentally damaging. which was correct. even when the top priority is to get the male sober, telling him is plan right now wouldn't be safe.

chan had stood up at this point and gave a short nod to felix. they both headed towards the bathroom. felix calmly shut the door behind him, taking a long deep breath as he turned to the clearly guiltily expressioned male.

"felix i'm sorry. i never got to apologize to you and—"

"save it, big boy." the blond cut him off while reaching into his pocket for seemingly a wallet. "now you know i fucking hate you and i'm going to make this quick. his roommate, kim seungmin, he's the one that gave me the dorm information in the first place to send money. i've never talked to him, only emailed, but i'm sure you know he's a sweetheart. so i'm going to make this quick..."

chan was taken back by the pure anger that influence felixs movement and tone, but he didn't dare to speak up.

"he messaged me three days ago that you were willing to help hyunjin get sober, he didn't mention details it was a simple short text. but from what i hear from hyunjin, who i conveniently ran into at a gas station, is that you've yet to fucking apologize for ruining everything for him. i fucking hate you for what you did, you took him away from me as well, so don't you dare think i'm doing this just for him. i'm waiting on a proper apology too, not some half assed shit you throw together when you're confronted. as for hyunjin, you're going to fucking apologize before i make you regret even stepping foot in the same country as him." felix was raging with anger but managed to keep the volume at minimum to avoid hyunjin or his boyfriend from hearing.

once done with what he needed to say he shoved a check into chans chest before heading for the door.

"wait— i understand and i will do everything i can to make it up to you...but what is the money for?" guilt was eating him alive. the more felix spoke, the more he understood what he needed to do. while hyunjin was gone he had time alone to do some serious thinking, he had accepted that he was wrong and was willing to learn from his mistakes, despite still hating hyunjin. but what was the money for?

"i don't trust hyunjin not to buy more drugs with the money i usually send him, so i'm giving it to you now. not that i trust you, because i don't, but i hope you'll take my advice and become a better man. i need to make sure my best friend is at least eating well, has clothes, and other necessities to keep him the healthiest he can be in his state. so chan, please help him get better."

with that said, felix left the bathroom leaving the eldest male speechless. hyunjins best friend was leaving the know enemy of the situation in charge of keeping the addict healthy. felix had provided chan with the money to not only feed, but take care of hyunjins hygiene as well, and it was enough money to last the addict roughly 4 months.

felix had left him a check of two million won.
