they had arrived at a small cafe where seungmin guided the addict to a table that had a younger boy with fennec fox like features seated. the younger boy smiled and stood up to greet the unfamiliar tall boy.

"hi, i'm jeongin" he bowed and stuck a hand out for hyunjin to shake. the young boy examined the extremely handsome but seemingly restless male reach out him arm. an arm that was covered in cuts, bruises and scabs which he assumed was from picking at the skin, since he was informed the male his close friend, seungmin, would be bringing today was an addict.

"hyunjin" he introduced shaking the smaller boys hand. he examined the younger boys body up and down not missing a single curve with his eyes. biting his lip subconsciously at how attractive the male was.

"for a homophobe, you sure seem pretty gay looking at my boyfriend like that." seungmin warned, grabbing ahold of the addicts arm and pulling him into a seat.

"boyfriend? hah- so you are a fucking faggot. who would've guessed" hyunjin scoffed, kicking back in his seat.

jeongin began to feel a bit uncomfortable and seungmin was afraid this would've happened. he knew that hyunjin always seemed to speak his mind, and was afraid that he would find a way to offend his significant other. "look, can you not use slurs that aren't yours to claim? it's disrespectf-"

"you should tell that to all the guys i've had sex with" hyunjin chuckled and looked seungmin in the eye. "i may be homophobic but i'm gay as hell."

"can we talk quieter guys? people are staring." jeongin said strictly looking at hyunjin.

"fine fine" hyunjin looked through the menu feeling good about himself for getting out of his scrappy dorm. he smiled and laughed giddily while thinking about having a roommate that was willing to buy him food. Random thoughts filled as mind, overlapping an intertwining as his head felt light and hazy in an unexplainable relaxing way.

jeongin understood the male was on drugs at the moment but he still was curious as to why he was so happy. he leaned over to his boyfriends ear and whispered that particular question of why hyunjin was not sluggish but more upbeat and confident in his speech as well as being happy.

whispering back, seungmin said "at the moment he is on cocaine which boosts your sociability and self confidence, which is why it's labeled as one of the party drugs. also why people tend to get addicted after the first usage."

"can't we do anything to help him?"

"unfortunately it's hard to offer help to someone who doesn't want it."

"you guys are horrible at whispering, oh and by the way seungmin, i'll take the biscuits and gravey with extra sausage" hyunjin flashed a smile.

he sat there while the other two scanned the menus searching for meals, simply feeling the weight of his limbs get heavier by the second. cocaine wasn't his go-to but he always enjoyed the energetic brain and relaxed body it gave him. the high was similar to the one of smoking heroine which he did on most the time but it was more expensive than cocaine so he usually resorted to the cheaper option since he didn't have a job and lived off money a certain 'friend' sent him each month for food.

yes, some guilt came with using the money his friend worked for on drugs instead of it's intended use of providing him with a meal each day, but again when it came to the act of purchasing the drugs he could care less where the money came from.

it has been sometime since their food had arrived, small talk was all they were having at the café table. they didn't seem to click well with hyunjin so a deeper conversation was not necessarily the easiest thing to go about. "so...jeongin, how come i never see you in our dorm? or met you before today?" hyunjin questioned the younger male.
